Even if the rumor was true, I would be surprised if Portland did this trade. DOn't they already have like 5 2's/3's?

    Big surprise!

... so Milwaukee didn't want to trade Desmond Mason, Michael Redd, and draft picks for Zach Randolph, a PF who has had recent run ins with the law? Wow. When I read this on hoopshype.com, they totally had me fooled. Honestly. [IMG]

No surprise her. This would have been a rip off for the Bucks. And I am proud of them for not standing up to the hype.

I agree, they would have been trading one of the best raising shooters, and a nice slasher that can put up 15 ppg...For Randoph who is in the middle of a court case right now...Portland would have killed in this deal, they already have Reef, who can easily replace Zach at PF and they would add Redd and Dez to their lineup...PG:Van Exel/Stoudemire/Telfair SG: Redd SF: Dez PF: Reef...C: Theo [IMG] that can put them back in the playoffs...As for the Bucks, they would have to move their starting PF, Joe Smith (who isn't that bad) to the bench...Good desion by the bucks to declinet that this was going on...

Court you must not have understood what I said. I am saying the Bucks would have been ripped off, not the Blazers.

No it's ok there is no need too. I didn't make myself very clear in the first place. So my mistake.

I think the trade would've benifited both teams, both teams get an up and coming star. Clearly the Bucks gave more talent but big men are much harder to find then SG's.

I think the trade wasnt really good for either team, both would give up two players they teams had drafted and made into the teams franchise`s leader, and the Bucks would have much depth at the 2 anymore either.

if was portland id do it, but the bucks would get ripped off big. Redd (who mad the allstar game) alone could get randolph(who didnt) but i wouldnt even do that if i were the bucks much less give up another future allstar in mason.

That's what I was thinking. It can't be because he has a bad attitude. That's just contagious in Portland. I didn't even no that this was going on at all.

It was a no brainer as far as the Bucks are concerned. D-Mase and Redd + draft picks. Even somebody who knows nothing about basketball would sense that this would be a bad deal for them.
