<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Zhone:</div><div class="quote_post">FSBA airs Kings games - if you're in the Sacramento area (and I know they are also shown on a local channel, kcra). Fox sports is localized and you will only get the localized team for your area, so no Kings & Warriors unless something changed last year. Not sure about directtv, either...</div>
foxsports didnt have a contract with the Kings last season... so no games there...

KCRA is the NBC afilliate in Sac.. the only time they have Kings games on are when they are part of a network broadcast which is what... two, maybe three at the most in a given season.

KXTV (CBS affiliate) had a deal that was done on short notice last year, and it appears that they are going to have a good deal of games on again this next season.... but we will have to wait & see on that one....

other option the Maloofs were looking into is creating their own network in order to put the games on... doesnt look like that is going to happen this next season.. but who knows...

DirecTV has pretty much the same things as Comcast as far as sports goes with the exception of NBATV... its included in the Dish500 package where cable does not offer it the last I looked.

Get a DVR. That is a good idea, maybe I could do that and get NBATV so I can watch all of the Warriors games and give better insights.

Its amazing the Fox Sports Net Bay Area shows the number of W's game that it does. 10 years out of the playoffs is a long time. But, like we all know, W's fans are loyal and will watch the team no matter what. Even when the future of the team was Vonteego.

Anyone get NBA League Pass? I'm tempted but I think just getting Fox Sports Net will blow my non cable viewing self mind away.

Yeah, when the end of October rolls around that's when sport really heats up. Basketball is starting, football is in full swing, and baseball is just about over after going full throttle through the World Series. And the fact that one can sit and watch every conceivable game is mind-blowing.

    How about John Starks!

Reason: Why should anyone pay full price for NBA league pass when all most fans want to see is one particular team or one particular non-televised game? I mean if you wanted to follow several teams you better hope they aren't playing at the same time. They should loop a repeat of each game so you can catch all the western conference teams playing on the same night.

    Reason to get it:
Pure NBA fans want to see different matchups that highlights of won't cut. Especially with the help of TIVO/DVR, you can do this. NBA League Pass and MLB Extra Innings are great in comparison to NFL league pass where you have to watch to flip thru a ton of teams playing at one time. With NBA or MLB you have more games, more selection and much much more of the sport to watch. If you had the $$ why the hell wouldn't you? Straight up.

Furthermore if you live out of the area, like I have, you can't see Warriors games because they are only shown once a month maybe on ESPN or TNT. Living away from the bay its a joke trying to watch Warriors ball. Another reason to get it.

If you live away from the area like yourself and Warriorsfan you're basically forced to get it. But what I was saying is that its stupid how you have to pay for the whole season when you only want to watch a few games or if you only plan to follow one team. I'd rather have it so you can do like a pay per view or something or make it so you can either a.] watch only one team b.] watch several teams but make the games loop so you can watch different games at different times even if all the games are playing at the same time. This is good if you don't have Tivo.

thats one of those things where I would be watching games, taping games, callin in sick from work & telling my family I had SARS so that I could justify the money I paid for it...

and yeah, it would be good if they could replay that stuff...

For some of us who don't live in the Bay Area, how do you guys cope with not seeing any Warrior games??

It's hard for me to see any Kings games since i live in Warrior country.the newspapers will have to do for me.

    From Stockton, CA

I've made the drive to a handful of games since the last Gilbert Arenas season, including the last couple season openers (which is a new tradition for me). They've won everytime too, and I've gotten a couple of free tacos and hot dog coupons which sadly only apply in the bay area. [IMG]

When I was a child, the Warriors (Run TMC days) played an exhibition against the Kings at University of Pacific, and my dad took me. Apparently Warrior attendance is a tradition in the family, as my grandfather attended games with his sons (my father and his brothers) during the last championship season in '75.

This will be my fourth season with season tickets, my friend and I bought them right after graduating college. I have probably been to close to 100 games in that time period, usually only missing 5-6 games a year.

I listen to it on Sirius satelite radio, KNBR online, or just watch the live scoreboards on ESPN or NBA.com. I also have ESPN Insider and now THIS BOARD!!!

This is the first time I have ever lived out of the bay area and it is already killing me not being able to see my oakland a's play. Hopefully we get cable and internet hooked up sometime next week.

That would be good for you.I lived out of the Bay Area for like 3 or 4 years on the east coast,so i got a shot to see A's and LA Raider Games on National TV,but not that often.

It's sad when your favorite team is where you don't have acess to watch them [IMG]
