Wow, Baron Davis would be something to consider right now for the Lakers since we really don't have depth at the point. And since Baron is from the LA area, he would really be a great fit in Laker purple and gold. The only problem I have concerning this is what we'd have to give up to get this guy, and I've heard from the other members here, possibly Lamar Odom. I think we're already set at the forward position, and even though Malone is still a question mark at this time about coming back next year, we have a solid, versatile, sized up bonafied forward in Odom and is it worth losing that depth? Don't get me wrong..our backcourt would arguably be the best in the NBA if we picked up B. Diddy, but the frontcourt is where it's most important and we need all the size and offensive abilities from Odom as much as possible. But we'll see what happens. I'll definitely be on the edge of my seat to see what goes down in the weeks ahead. Maybe we can give New Orleans a run for their money.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Marcus Butler? You mean Caron Butler right? I don't see the Hornets trading Baron Davis for Caron Butler. Although he has loads of potential, Butler has only been in the league 2 years and has not proven himself yet. Odom for Davis would be more likely because they were both in the same draft class, and Odom really elevated his trade value after his season with Miami.</div> no marcus 1 of the guards we got from boston or w/e and butler and george

Instead, we got Jumaine Jones.
