No real surprise here. Givens is going to have a long year, and given the circumstances, it doesn't look good for the Goose. Honestly, from what I read in the papers, the evidence against him is really, really good. In fact, when the Orlando Sentinel talked to a lawyer about the case she said something to the effect of "people have gotten convicted of this crime with less evidence against them." It's really hard to imagine that he might have done something like this, I mean, for 10+ years, he's been the stronghold of Magic broadcasting. I'm going to miss him this year when I watch the Magic, even though I don't really agree with the things he says about certain players sometimes. Hopefully, if he's not guilty, he won't be convicted. Innocent until proven guilty.

Innocent until proven guilty.</div> Kind of weird that Givens, analyst for the Magic, is facing this sexual assault charge against a minor, and Calvin Murphy, an analyst for the Rockets, is facing molestation charge against his daughters. Quite a coincidence. Guokas is a great analyst, though. I loved his work with Marv Albert back when he worked NBA games for NBC.
