I wanted to hear some predictions form the 'insider' laker club lol. HEres the Qeustions- 1. What do you think their record will be? 2. if they make the play-offs how will they do? 3. Do you think they will make anymore moves before the start of the regular season? Thats all
1. 42-48 wins if the roster 2. 2nd round. Even getting to the second round is probably a stretch if you look at it from the current roster if you look at it realistically. I still do believe this team is good enough to pull off an upset and win in the first round as the lower seed though. 3. Yes, as active as the Lakers have been this offseason I just can't see them not making another move because of the jam at the SF spot.
1. 52 2. 3rd round, probably gonna match-up with either Spurs or Wolves. either way they'll lose. 3. Yep, probably gonna go after a seasoned PG or a shooter
1. 56 wins, first in division 2. Western Conf. Finals, possibly the Finals if they get a better PG 3. Hopefully they'll trade for a PG really soon

I'd like to see the Lakers get Banks...i'm not interested in Kidd
Hey, being optimistic kept me from turning off the television during Game 2 of the Finals. I really do believe we can pull though this year. It all depends on how well Kobe/Odom can work together, if we get back Malone, and if Vlade can stay healthy. I know another factor will be the PG situation, but what can I say about that? It's terrible.
Last season I was quite the optimist...I preached how the acquisition of GP alone would put the Lakers over the top...alas, I was dead wrong...so this time, I'm gonna be the realist: 1. Just over .500 2. Lakers put up a great fight in the First-Round, to something ~6 or 7 games. This first season of the Post-Shaq Era is just the beginning of a long-term plan. We all know the HUGE hole defensively at the 1...and there's no legit shotblocker to make up for that hole either... 3. Yes, a trade for a decent PG (no defensive doberman point guard...not until next off-season)
