With the Magics new Defensive orientated Team outlook, why not give Keon Clark a shot. This guy was a Defensive standout at UNLV, has played solid bball in the pros and would be a great backup to Howard, Cato and Battie, as well as being insurance for injury. He can put up 10 pts, 6 rebs and 2 blks on any given night, runs the break well and is not a selfish player. Starting 5 C-Cato PF-Howard SF-Hill SG-Mobley PG-Francis Bench C-Battie PF-Garrity SF-Turkoglu SG-Stevenson PG-Nelson C-Clark SF-Augmon Injury PF-DeClercq PG-Bogans PF-Bradley
Is he still a free agent? I don't think he'll sign for what Magic can give him... ... I know DQ has got problems but why do you have Bogans, Bradley on the Injured list? BTW, Welcome to the boards... We need more posters...
He could be a solid player but many teams have just given up on him,he has been in the leauge for a few seasons but he gets injured a lot and is inconsistant at times. If the Magic did try and sign him I dont know if he would do much or not.

If we wanted Keon Clark on the Magic, I think that we would have kept him when we drafted him in '98. He wants a good paycheck and he isn't going to find it here in Orlando, we're strapped for cap room as it is. If we didn't have Grant Hill on our team anymore though, we'd be fine. I'm not a big Keon Clark fan and I think that he'll always be nothing more than a career underachiever. We really don't need anymore of that on the Magic.
I think he is worth the risk. When I posted a thread about what areas we need to improve center was basically what everyone said. He is injured prone or not the best avaliable player still on the market. He had one injured season last year, but played like a solid player for the Kings the years before that. He would probably be able to be signed for less than the MLE so it would not be a big deal anything goes wrong we can waive him he is better than Bradely who we have on our roster.
