Thats not what IM trying to see, your the one who said that athleticsm doesnt get you jack when it can I am not saying you can depend on it alone but athleticsm could help you out if you were an undersized defender.
Why does it seem that everyone is underrating Grant Hill? Have you guys seriously forgotten how talented this guy really is? He has averaged 15.13 Points/7.57 Rebounds/4.49 Assists in his 3 injured seasons in Orlando. Of these 3 seasons, he has been "healthy" only one, and he wasn't at 100% then. He Will average better then 18 points, 7 rebounds/ and over 6 assists. He will lead then team in assists, because other then height, Grant is a better point guard then Steve Francis will ever be. Grant will be Orlando's MVP this season.
It's too difficult to predict stats for the whole team. This is what I think the likely starting lineup will average, though: C - Kelvin Cato: 8 ppg, 7 rpg, 1 apg pf- Dwight Howard: 11 ppg, 6rpg, 1.5 apg sf- Hedo Torkuglu: 10 ppg, 4rpg, 1.5 apg sg- Cuttino Mobley: 15 ppg, 3.5rpg, 4 apg pg- Steve Francis: 21 ppg, 6rpg, 5.5 apg Those are conservative estimates. If the Orlando plays a run and gun game, Francis could easily average 23+ ppg. Cat is capable of scoring 20+ too, but he won't be getting 40 minutes a game like he did under Rudy T.

And if he does come back and plays most of the season, he probably won't get more than about 30 minute a game. If he starts, I'd predict 12 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 4 apg.
If, and this is a big "If", Grant Hill was to average 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, he would have to play 38+ minutes a night-and that ain't gonna happen! His body or ankles will simply not allow him to, he would be in that much pain after each game. I say 25-30 minutes at the most. Plus with the deeper unit this season, we won't need him to play 38+ minutes, and we will need him "healthy" for the post season anyway. Look to Grant Hill as a Point Guard on the court at specific times of a game, but Francis will be handling the rock the most. As long as Grant's health allows him to play-thats more than enough!
True,if Grant comes back he wont be the old Grant Hill,he will still be able to play well, but know he is a vet and it will be hard for him to play big minutes on a consistant basis, some games he can play a lot of minutes other games he will play little,on a good night he could score 18ppg but averages like 14ppg seem likely.
Well all reports I have read state that Grant it back to his old self, close to what he was with his last season with Detroit. The man will be amazing this year. If you see the Magic winning this year, dont look to Steve Francis, or Dwight Howard, look to Grant Hill. This is his team. Not Steve Francis'.
