<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If Scottie Pippen hangs up his sneakers because of a sore left knee, the Bulls likely will release the aging star to open a roster spot while paying his $5.5-million salary.</div> Full Story That is really the only paragraph about Pippen in the thing the rest is about the Mutombo trade. Anyway my question is when Pippen signed his contract with the team there was a lot of speculation that in that contreact there was something about him recieveing a position in the orginization once he retired? If there is any truth to that what do you think that position will be? As far as the Rockets trade goes I think the Bulls are filling two very bog needs if the trade goes down the need for a big guard that canalso play swing man and the need for a vetern that can give some type of advice and mentor the younger guys. Then they get Wilks also who I am not sure what his position with the team will be will he waived or what? Considering he plays point and Pargo and Duhon are fighting to see who even makes the team because they play point.
The Pippen news is no surprise. I hope he retires, he doesnt have much left in the tank. Maybe play one more game to cap off his amazing career. I like the trade. Obviously, Mutumbo wanted out of Chicago, so we got the best deal i think we could've gotten.
