do u think we would of been better if we drafted wade instead of bosh. i no that he played center last year but we did have davis and williams just a thought i think we would of been worse because if we did do the trade with chicago then we wouldnt have ny big man <font color="red">Title Edited. -Franchise</font>
Well yea we would of, I was ironically discussing this with og15 last night and all these different scenerios that could of happened. PG- Alvin Williams SG- Dwyane Wade SF- Vince Carter PF- Jerome Williams C- Antonio Davis That would of been our lineup last year, because we wouldn't make the Rose-Davis trade, because we would be left with no big man except for Marshall. Alston might be there for this season, and our draft pick would of probably been lower, allowing us to draft someone like Jameer Nelson or Al Jefferson. PG- Alvin Williams/Rafer Alston SG- Dwyane Wade SF- Vince Carter PF- Al Jefferson C- Antonio Davis That would be our lineup based on everything stated above. But this really means nothing. What if we drafted Jermaine O'Neal? Steve Nash or Kobe? There's too many things to discuss like this.
I'm glad we ended up with Bosh. He has the potential to be the next Garnett. Wade is amazing as well but I'm glad he went to miami, made the playoffs, and blew-up under the spotlight. He was highly underrated last year and I'm glad he proved his critics wrong about his game.

wade is physically fragile (health) and mentally incompetent(prone to make technical errors), essentially he's a glorified athlete not a basketball player.
Drafting Bosh was the right thing. Big men are the future of the NBA, and Bosh is going to be great in a few years.
id rather have bosh. wade was great, but he might not have had the season he had in toronto. different system, different coach, maybe he wouldnt have had the same minutes...who knows what would have happend. guard play generally develops quicker then big man play...give bosh another year or two, he'll be 20/10
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting deception:</div><div class="quote_post">wade is physically fragile (health) and mentally incompetent(prone to make technical errors), essentially he's a glorified athlete not a basketball player.</div> It would probably be nice too, with Wade and Carter, but we have Bosh, and it's good to have the guard | big man combo as opposed to 2 guards.
I'm back! While Wade has shown that he can play I still think we made the right decision in drafting Bosh. Wade is the type of player that would probably take away from Vince's game rather than add to it. He needs the ball in his hands to make plays and so does Vince. We all know that Davis was not happy being in Toronto and in time he had to go. Imagine now if we had to trade Davis without drafting Bosh. There would have been absolutely no one to take his place in the middle. Drafting Bosh gave us a young talented player who could become close to what Garnett is like today.
Bosh is a big men where big men are rare...last thing the raps need is another swingman And yeah that isnt fair to say because you cannot predict the future...but Marcus Camby might have been the worst pick in NBA history judging by the talent below him...he equals kobe's sam bowie

If Wade is 'physically fragile', then what's Bosh? As for mentally incompetent...he is (was) a rookie. He will make mistakes from time to time. If you watched the Olympics, you would notice he didn't make very many technical errors, even less then the other "glorified athletes" and vets on the team. Glorified athelete? The whole point of being an athelete is to be recognized. What's the point of working on your game till exhaustion, working out, sacrifcing many hours playing, if you don't get recognized for your hard-work?
to be honest, if i had 2 pick of that draft, and seeing how things came out ...i woulda still drafted bosh, ....but now now if we had 1st pick
don't we all...lol let's just be thankful that we didn't listen to Vince and trade away Bosh for some veteran who would be done his career in 3 or 4 years.
Yes in my opinion if we drafted Wade we would have been better quicker. When Bosh was drafted everyone new he was going to be the man in a few years, but Wade he would have come in, and made a quick impact like he did in Miami, or would he have? Truth is I believe Wade has more potential at this point then Bosh, but am glad the team drafted Bosh and not Wade, because who knows how it would have turned out? It may have been a lack of chemistry between him and VC or something that in the orginization or the coaches 8 man rotation may have pissed off Wade or caused him to play extensive minutes more than he played in Miami, and things would not have worked. Basically this is a what if question, what if we got the 3rd pick? what if we drafted this guy? Truth is what has happened can not be changed so what is the use of talking about it.

If bosh played the same amount of minutes as wade (if that was possible) last season i think Bosh woulda done a lot better then wade
