Here is the list of the 25 worst players in the NBA. Some of the players in the list I don't agree with at all but it is intresting. http://probasketball.about.com/od/player1/...tNBAplayers.htm
pretty hilarious, my freinds had a great time calling me evan esymecher after i showed them the thread lol...but i dont agree with some of the players there, d-wag^ and mo-pete^^ cmon
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">3. Wang ZhiZhi, C, Miami -- Even the Chinese government has disowned him </div> Good Lord, that is hilarious. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">9. Ryan Humphrey, SF, Memphis -- More myth than baller, Humphrey has never actually been seen playing in a real game </div> True, this kid had a lot of hype in the draft but never got any playing time with either the Magic nor the Grizzlies despite being a first round pick. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">10. Tom Gugliotta, PF, Boston -- Former All-Star scored in double figures once last season ... and that was in the preseason! </div> It's just wrong to rank him here. He's old and broke his knee. Before his injury, he was one of the best players in the league. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">22. Morris Peterson, SF, Toronto -- To think New Orleans took this clown off Toronto's hands and the Raptors matched the contract offer! 25. Juwan Howard, PF, Houston -- The burden of carrying his garish contract sucked the life out of Howard's game long ago </div> If I were a GM, I'd actually want these two on my team.
I disagree with the fact that they say Juwan Howard and Dikembe Mutombo are bad players. Juwan Howard is getting old i know...but hes still scoring 17 ppg and 7 rpg WITH a Tracy McGrady on his team and as for Deke....He did very good when he was on the Sixers in 2001....he was DPOY that year. Also....how could Dikembe Mutombo be a bad player like they make him out to be even tho his career averages are 11 ppg and 11 rpg....Sounds good to me... EDIT: Was also in 8 allstar games and averaged 9 rpg....
Talk about grandstanding. That list is horrible. The author apparently had an axe to grind because there are at least a dozen players who don't belong anywhere near that list. If it wasn't so poorly done, I might have spent some time picking it apart, but it's not worth my time. BTW: My biggest moment of hilarity in reading that list was that he's already pegged Kendrick Perkins as one of the 25 wrost players for the future. Perhaps I'll email him at the end of this season when Perkins has already proven him wrong.
I'm not agreeing with this list. Juwan Howard, Morris Peterson, Dikembe Mutombo, Dajuan Wagner, Ron Mercer, Ira Newble, Kareem Rush and Reece Gaines all deserve to be in the NBA, and are very servicable players.
that list is just horrible, i dont agree with some of those players at all like kareem rush, i think he's a good shooter, and deke, dont know why he's on the list, mo pete,he maybe inconsistent but there are alot more worse players than him, juwan howard? he was the 2nd best player in the magic last year and is way better than some of the players that arent on that list and there are a few more guys that really shouldnt be on the list. but i dont know who mae that up and how they came up with it, like it doesnt look like they based it on there stats and looks like they base it on one bad season they had, or something like that.
I agree with Juwan Howard being on the list. When was the last time he's been on a winning team? Everyone he goes the team becomes the worst in the league Wizards,Nuggets,Magic. The Mavericks being the exception. A lot of these players Dan Dickau,Reece Gaines, Kareem Rush,Dujuan Wagner are still too young to be called bad. Dikembe Mutombo is just old. He was great with the Nuggets.
Not living up to all-star expectations is not a reason for being on this list. Juwan Howard has put up solid numbers his entire career. Sure, he's not an all-star, but he's not one of the leagues worst players either.
Well this list clearly doesnt care if you were once an affective player in this league but age has simply caught because I would have to leave off guys like Dikembe Mutombo, Tom Googs and even Juwan Howard because all these guys have played at an all-star level before. And have put together solid NBA careers for themselves. Juwan Howard has never lived up to the fab 5 hype. And Washington chosing to keep him over Webber clearly turned out to be a crazy move on their part, Howard has still put together a decent NBA career overall. And I think its kind of crazy to put players who were clearly effective in the past on this list. Micheal Stewart,Evan Eschmeyer, Wang ZhiZhi are alll career bench warmers and will continue to be. Micheal Stewart was a solid guy off the bench for the kings, but after that he pretty much stunk in my opinion. And Evan Eschmeyer suffered some back and leg problems his rookie year with my Nets. But in his 2nd year he showed some signs of the potenial to be halfway decent, but never really ever became 100% again. And became a career injury reserve player. But yeah, I agree those three are garabage and belong on the list. Ryan Humphrey has struggled on this level because everyone knew he didnt have a position in this league. At Notre Dame he played strong forward and some center. But at this level he had to be a SF, which doesnt have the game to play, no perimeter ablity, no ablity to put the ball on the floor etc. Therefore he hasnt been give much opportunity to prove himself in game situations. The hopes of him being a Corliss Williamson type of player have gone out the window, just doesnt have the skills needed. He still has some chance to prove that he can play in this league due to the fact he is like 24-25, so youth is still somewhat on his side, but the clock on his chance to prove himself is running out fast. But I agree with him being on the list. Ron Mercer and D-Wags are on the list because they are me 1st type of players and are not very efficient or effective with their me 1st style on the court. Its simply the old NBA motto, nobody says anything if you take a high volume of shots and make them, but if you take a high volume of shots and cant throw the ball in the ocean with any consistency then everybody in the league are going to call you on it.Many associated with the league dont like these players style. I dont agree with Rush, I think that he has done a solid job in his limited role with the Lakers for the past 2 years. The guy is playing behind Kobe not really alot of opportunity to prove what you are capable of doing, minutes wise. Mo Peterson has been extremely up and down in his career I will say that but 25 worst, Iam not sure about. And I dont agree with Tyronne Lue, he was in a role that he wasnt comfortable with last season as a starter. Yet when teams use the zone that was so affective against the Magic last season, he was one of the only guys on the team knocking down the perimeter shot. Luye clearly isnt meant to be a starter, but he has been effective in backup roles with the Wizards. And apart of that Lakers team in the 2001 finals. I think with Lue probably going back to a back up role this year, with the Rockets, he will once again be productive in that role. Deshawn Stevenson has no range on his jumpshot but I still think he has some upside. And has time to develope some range. There are worst shooting guards out there. All and All the list is bad but not horrible alot of those guys really stink and some are still young in their NBA careers but have shown little signs of improving, some have been stuck behind a superstar player which has limited their minutes to prove what they can do. The main thing I would say is take off Stevenson or Rush and put on Shandon Anderson. Anderson brings nothing to the table that warrants his 7-8 mill a year. The guy is a liablity on offense cause he couldnt consistently he a jumper if his life depended on it.And he stinks at putting the ball on the floor going to the basket. He use to be a good perimeter defender, and he doesnt do that all that well to me anymore. And even during his best defensive years he still wasnt worth getting a 7-8mill a year.
The guy that made this list is an idiot. He overlooks guys who are actually bad for guys he thinks are bad. The top 6 were about rite, and it just went down-hill from there. Hes got guys up there who are like second year players who havent even gotten a chance to meet their potential.. hes got guys who are far from horrible (Peterson, Wagner, Howard, Stevenson, Rush, Mutombo). Does this guy seriously think these guys are in the bottom 25 of NBA players, because if he does hes an idiot. Especially Peterson and Howard, who both put up some pretty good numbers. In conclusion: The list <font color="DarkRed">(edited: please use less offensive descriptors please.)</font>
This list repels me. It's obvious that the writer was simply looking for some buzz to be generated, but almost anyone who knows basketball can make up a better list than him. What's up with putting Tyrone Lue, Gaines, Mo Pete and Howard on the list? Hell, they might not be the best players, but neither should they be the worst. How about guys like Jamison Brewer, Robert Archibald, Primoz Brezec and Cezary Trybaneski?

Referring to a community that is inferior to JBB is an insult to JBB. Unless it's from sites like ESPN, then don't post those links ever again Now this is the real factual list of the Worst Players In The NBA: 10. Darko Milicic 9. Michael Olowokandi 8. Robert Archibald 7. Ryan Bowen 6. Shawn Bradley 5. Wang Zhizhi 4. Chris Jefferies 3. Evan Eschmeyer 2. Ruben Bump Bump 1. Rick Brunson
OMFG that guy has to be the dumbest writer I have ever ever had the displesure to see a article off. He has guys like Rush and Gaines on the list after Rush hit all those shots to get the Lakers to the finals and has player 2 NBA SEASONS and has Gaines in there as one of the 25 worst players in the NBA after his ROOKIE SEASON. Mutombo on that list????? He is a fortmer all star, former Defensive player of the year a huge peace in the Sixers finals run in 2001 along with Tyrone Hill and George Lynch. How is Howard one of the 25 worst players when he was part of the second leading duo in PPG last season with Mcgrady and is aging and in his prime right now which is his early 30's I think he is 30 years old. He averages 17 points per game and was a guy any team was looking to sign last off season. I think he got a bad contract his first couple of years in theleague because people thought he would be a future superstar like a very very big star and he never lived up to that expectation. Dajuan Wagner and Ira Newble is it just me or does this guy have something against Cav players. Wagner was having a great rookie season before got injured and had a great season last year how is he one of the25 worst players after two f****** NBA seasons?!?!? Ira Newble is a good defender he may not be a super star that will give you twenty points a night, but he is still a more than decent roll player for any team. DeShawn Stevenson?!?!? That is the biggest load of bull I ever heard he thinks he is one of thw worst nba players jsut because of the fact he only made 19 three pointers?!? He is still good scorer and spark plug off the bench for any team and would be a great pick up to boast a teams bench any dayof the week I seriously think that this guy was drinking something when he made this list I can't believe this is on a actually basketball site and was writen by a actual analyst. Steven Hunter how is he on that list when there are many worst centers in the league that are not on this list. This guy is still a unproven player, but he still has the potential logo I require more time to evalute him before I go around calling him one of the 25 worst nba players. Tom Gugliotta being on this list is total bull he says he is one of the worst NBA players judging on last season? When in his career he was a former all star and is aging right now so of course his game is on the decline. Morris Peterson a great second option for vince has a good shot and was recommended by carter himself to be resigned how the **** does he make this list? He should be on the list of 25 under rated players if anything. What I dont understadn is in this list how could he have players like Gaines who only played 38 games as one of the worst and Rush as one of the worst anddon't have former firs toverall pick Kwame Brown who has yet to live up to the hype not on the list? Just goes to show you can't really call yourself a analyst just because you work for a someone writing articles. 11. Kedrick Brown, SG, Philadelphia -- Interesting how many guys on this list either play for or were drafted by the Celtics That is the excuse he gives for putting brown on the lsit what a retart. If you look at our depth charts on hoop hype Brown is ranked above Kyle Korver in our lineup yet Korver is not on this list (and rightfully not). I don't think he is the best player in the world, but one of the 25 worst hell no. The idiot also has Ebi has a future worst player how? If the orginization wont let him play because they want him to learn from the bench. People like this guy make me sick . edit I forgot to say: <font size="7">WORST LIST EVER!!!!!!!!!!! </font>
