From 1947 to the present, years upon years of chapters and memorable scripts being rewritten in the Laker scrapbooks, we as Laker fans have tons of memorable all-time favorite memories that have locked in our minds as the most amazing Laker moments of all time. For all the great Laker fans here, what are the best thoughts that just come off the top of your head as the best you've ever witnessed?
I don't have one moment but I loved the Lakers-Celtics rivalries with Bird+Parish and Magic+Kareem. Good times
Kobes two threes against T-Blazers last regular season game. D-Fish 0.4 sec to beat spurs. Kobes 3 in the finals to send the game to OT.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobe-360:</div><div class="quote_post">Kobes two threes against T-Blazers last regular season game. D-Fish 0.4 sec to beat spurs. Kobes 3 in the finals to send the game to OT.</div> Yeah, definitely but that's just one year How about... Magic's drive to the hoop, one-handed ball fakes to both sides of the defender's head into a pass. Magic in 1980 (rookie season) winning Game 6 of the Finals, bringing home the title...and playing all 5 spots on the court. Riley's guarantee for another championship, two consecutive, and he was right. Kobe suddenly pulls away from Allen Iverson in a Lakers/Sixers game and catches a nasty alley oop over Tyrone Hill. Magic/Kareem vs. Bird/Celtics  And...maybe not much of a Laker moment but Jordan switching hands in mid-air for a left-handed layup in the lane...oooh yeah, good stuff.
I don't know too much of the 1980's decade since I was only born in 1985, so I'll stick with the present decade.... Kobe's performance at Sacramento in 2000 (taunting the King crowd by blowing on his fingers...sweeeeet) Kobe's alleyoop to Shaq in the 2000 NBA Finals that rallied the Lakers from an 18 point deficit, sent myself and Staples Center into a frenzy, finished the Blazers, and won the Western Conference Championship. Kobe's 50 point performance (2000 Lakers/Warriors) Shaq's 60+ performance against the LA Clippers The Lakers 2001 NBA playoff run. Not a team anybody wanted to face. Talk about intimidation. Robert Horry's game winning three pointer to send the Lakers to Sacramento for a Game 7 in the Western Conference Finals, and later on enduring a long overtime period to knock off our archrivals. Kobe elbowing Bibby in the face in the '02 WCF. (Accidential? Don't think so. ) Kobe's game winning basket against the Nuggets after flying from Colorado to Staples on the same night. Kobe driving to the baseline and somehow adjusting his body to make a terrifying one handed dunk. Once against the NY Knicks nationally televised at Madison Square Garden and in the 2003 Quarterfinals. Kobe's streak of 40 point performances. Tyronn Lue's containing of Iverson in the '01 Finals shutting Iverson's mouth of trashtalking and foolishness. Kobe's amazing awkward, off balance three pointers to break the hearts of Portland and their fans and later clinched the Pacific Division title. Derek Fisher's 0.4 shot....that later broke the backs of San Antonio and knocked out the defending champs two days later. If I could think of classics that I watch on ESPN Classic, it'll have to be Magic's rookie season like what realdealbneal stated. Playing all five positions and bringing home the crown, the Showtime ERA, the Jerry Buss era of 1979, George Mikan putting the Minneapolis Lakers on the map and putting their franchise in respectablility, 1947-1951, okay I'm not that old LOL, but I'm educated in my Laker history.
Mines has to be Magic`s game winning hook from around the free-throw line against the Celtics great moment and I can watch that play over and over.
Mine has to be Kobes alley oop to Shaq in game 7 of the WCF when we were down 18 and won and i still cant get over robert horrys 3 against the kings in game 4 to tie the series 2-2.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobe-360:</div><div class="quote_post">Kobes two threes against T-Blazers last regular season game. D-Fish 0.4 sec to beat spurs. Kobes 3 in the finals to send the game to OT.</div> Those are some good ones. Here are some of mines. Kobe's behind the back 360 Reverse dunk against this Denver guy in I think 2003. Fisher's 0.4 shot Horry's 3 to stab the Kings heart in the playoff. Kobe's game winning basket against the Nuggets after flying from Colorado to Staples on the same night. That dunk against the Wolves, that injuried his shoulder, but it was still sweeet.
Kobe's amazing awkward, off balance three pointers to break the hearts of Portland and their fans and later clinched the Pacific Division title. uh i wouldnt say it broke portland fans' heart. they had no chance of makin the postseason. that game meant absolutely nothing to portland. so dont go building up that moment to more than it was worth. so it put them in 2nd instead of fourth. it wasnt that amazing. kobe just put up a lucky prayer and your buildin it up like it was a gamewinner in the finals or sumthin....

Funny you say that...since he made another one in OT where he was fading back for a three, that won the game. Do it once, it's fair game to be called luck. Do it twice, in the same game, 5 minutes apart, and it's all skill. Anyways, I doubt anyone wanted to hear negative comments in this thread, and since you don't have any favorite Laker moments, there's no need to come in and call our moments less amazing, and I'm sure every Laker fan that posts in here will agree.
The Shot (.4) Kobe's 40 point streak Kobe's games after flying back from Colorado Kobe against the Wizards (56 pts) Shaq against the Clippers 2000 WCF's Alley oop 3 Championships All Kobe's game winners Many, Many More....
-2000 NBA Playoff game against the Blazers when Shaq got the alley oop to seal the deal -Horry's shot against the Kings -Fisher's .4 shot -Any moment that BREAKS the other teams' hearts. There's been so many in the Shaq-Kobe era and they feel SO good. Especially since it rarely happens to the Lakers...I hope we can still live those.
Kobes 40 point streak .4 shot Showtime. Those were the best times All the Finals series except against Detroit. bleh!
Just about everything has been touched on. So I guess I'll just have to go with Kobe blowing past Spre and mini windmill reverse dunk and the full reverse windmill dunk against mini.
Man, you guys are giving up already? - Kobe's crossover...leading to a nasty dunk over Ben Wallace - Kobe driving to the hoop (past McGrady) and slamming it down on T-Mac and all of Orlando, then slapping the backboard for a technical - Kobe's nine consecutive 40+ point games in 2003 - Jerry West's miracle shot from 60 feet against the Knicks - The 1971-72 Lakers, who put up a record of 69-12, with 33 straight wins
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Kobe suddenly pulls away from Allen Iverson in the Finals and catches a nasty alley oop over another Sixer. </div> That happened in the regular season (2000-2001) and the Sixer he dunked over was Tyronne Hill. Anyways, some of my favourites: - Kobe crosses over Doug Christie (I think, I'm not sure who it was but he did cross-over) and dunks it over Vlade Divac in the 2001 Playoffs. - The Lakers come back to win a game against the Magic in 1998 after they were down by somethin like 30 points at half-time - The entire 2001 playoffs. That was just an amazing run, from start to finish. - 1980: Magic plays all five positions on the court in a pivotal Game 6 without Kareem and manages to finish with 42 points etc etc.. - Lakers rally from a 15 point deficit in the 4th quarter in Game 7 of the 2000 WCF and come back to win it - Kobe Bryant passes to Shaq in the 2002 Finals, who facializes Todd Mcullough (sp.) beyond belief. - Kobe does a widmill from the side against NY then flexes his muscles to the NY crowd (He did 'the flex' in Utah and Memphis as well) - Shaq runs the break in the 2001 WCF against the Spurs, pretending he was a point guard, passes to Kobe who passes it back to him for the slam. Then he looks at his hands coming down the floor. The Spurs were down by 20 somethin at that point.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting spawn:</div><div class="quote_post">That happened in the regular season (2000-2001) and the Sixer he dunked over was Tyronne Hill. </div> Okay, you're right. I never got to see that game, but I did see the clip from NBA TV...and although I watched nearly every minute of the Lakers/Sixers Finals, I never saw that play. Don't worry...I was wondering if it was really from the Finals because of that, so thanks for clearing that up
One of the greatest moments I've witnessed was the last season game for the 03-04 season. Kobe with two clutch 3's to save the game AND put the Lakers ahead of the Kings. I remember running out of the house and yelling "askdfjaklsjfasdk;fa!!!1" Fortunately my neighbors understood and they came out and celebrated for 3 minuets .
