Um...Tom...not that I care to take either side of this argument, but you do realize that you are arguing with Bearsfan....who is a...Bears fan....and not an Eagles fan, don't you? Much to Bearsfan's chagrin, his team won't be choking in the Superbowl next year like this year. On second thought, maybe they will (sorry BF).

sounds like your a little bitter...just give credit where credit is due the guy is a genius and is at the top of his game right now. There is not a better coach in football today and I think we finally know who is BIG Bill and who is little bill.</div>

I'm not bitter, I just want to see how he does without a big chunk of his coaching staff. I won't be surprised if they make the playoffs next year, but I'm pretty confident they won't have anything close to past success. Like I've always said, the Pats aren't invincible, and this might be the blow to send them down to the bottom. Now, if he at least gets to the AFC Championship next year, I'll commend him as a genius. He's a great coach, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't just him that got the Pats to 3 SB wins.

Ouch! I guess the Ravens will stay out of this. We had a crappy season. At least we are the team that made the Steelers 15-1 in the Season. =)

Ok so because guys BELICHICK promoted/brought in to be the OC and DC did a good job and got head coaching postions elsewhere mean's belichicks past success means nothing if he doesn't get to the AFC championship next season......hahaha if Andy Reid had won 3 out of 4 the city of Philadelphia would be in so much heat for the guy he would actually appear sexy in tights to them....Please. You can't deny that the team and organization that Coach Belichick has put together is great...making the job he has done in New England Great so whos to say he won't promote the correct guys to OC and DC this time? And it's never just the head coach just like its not just romeo and charlie that made our offense and defense work so trust me we will get over the loss of them. You'll see as usual...people making a bigger deal than they should over something or someone we lost. Oh sorry I guess your not bitter....it's just a coincendence an eagles fan will wait to see what he does without charlie before saying he is one of the best coaches. What was I thinking.

I never said you havent been a fan of them for a long time. I dont know where you are getting this from, you are overreacting like a bandwagon jumper. Secondly my team has won big games, like super bowl XX vs the patriots. The final score 46-10. I am sure you dont remember as you are probably 10 years old and that is ancient history to you.

First off, what the hell were you reading? I didn't say just Romeo and Charlie were the whole team but that's still a big piece. I never once said it was the whole team, I was saying the Belichick wasn't the whole team. I never said Belichicks past succes wouldn't matter if they didn't do much next year too. I said he was a great coach, but I'm just hesitate to call him a genius and the greatest coach of all time. I'm sorry if that's so much for you and the rest of New England to accept but there were other great teams besides the Patriots.

People, people... We are acting like children. And we are off subject anyways. The topic is called "Bill Belichick. Best coach of all time?" Not, diss eachothers team. Now that you mention it, there should be a topic about that, hehe.

Maybe you should read again because I agreed that belichick is not the whole team then pointed out that neither are his Coordinaters to make the point that it won't be as devasting of a loss as some people may wish it to be....clear enough? And if you look back at my post he is not the greatest coach of all time but I think you can start to put him in the top five...I mean the guy has been a part of 5 rings in his career and a major part in 4 of them. Not to mention the best playoff record as a head coach of All time. But hey if he ever has a bad season again he all of a sudden isn't that good...man what was I thinking. If you want to be like all the guys on ESPN and only go on what you just saw then so be it.

To Me Joe Gibbs is really underrated in this discussion. He won THREE Superbowls with THREE Different QB's, that to me is an accomplishment that is hard to beat.

If Belichick were the coach when we played Chicago we would have lost by probably the same margin....that bears team was physically better everywhere...maybe belichick would have made it closer by a TD if that but that defense was flat out dominating and noone was going to stop them that year.

I think he was a coach back then. In fact, he was a coach for the team we beat in the playoffs that year. We shut that team out. I am not bitter about the patriots win at all. I am not happy they won, no reason to be, I just dont like you. You act like an 8 year old bragging as if he won the super bowl himself. I realize that no matter what i say i am going to get same reply. i will ignore all your future posts and I encourage others to do the same.

He was D-coordinator for giants that year. We shut them out in NFC title game.

Like I said BF1...noone was going to stop them that year...and shit I was too young to have witnessed it with my own eyes but just to look over the roster of that team tells the story....coaches just weren't as necessary when you had a Pro Bowl Roster...motivators were.
