Flutie had to start in playoffs, and he threw 3 picks in the loss. A lot of people dont know but it was actually the '86 defense that set the NFL scoring record, not the '85 team that won the super bowl.

On the topic of Flutie, my dorm roommate is the nephew of Flutie. No one probably really cares but it is a good source of hearing some of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes.

It was I think after either his first or second season with the charges...I wanna say his first...but anyway I play goalie for a roller Hockey team and we used to play in Newton and Flutie actually was playing net for the other team...i guess he went to college with one of the older guys on the other team. I just thought that was kinda crazy that he'd play roller hockey in the offseaon at 40 or whatever...I mean what if he got hurt? But anyways he was a pretty cool guy at least that day he was and was a pretty good goalie to.
