Thomas was a key contributor in the victory, banking in a three-point shot with four-tenths of a second left in regulation to tie the game 87-87. The basket was Thomas' first three-pointer of the season and his first since March 27, 2001, when he was with the Houston Rockets. In the final seconds of the first overtime Thomas followed up an Eric Snow miss to send the game into the second OT where the Sixers prevailed.
Just thought this would be something cool to post,sixers.com made a top ten moments of the 03-04 season, the NY game was#1,and other moments in the countdown were AI's 50 point game against the Hawks,Aaron Mckies GW versus New Orleans and others check it out at the Sixers website. 04/04 Top Ten Moments Courtesy of Sixers.com/NBA.com
I pretty much agree with that list. That game against the Knicks was without a doubt the best 76er Moment last season and a Top 5 game of the entire NBA Season if you ask me. And what was interesting about it was the fact that both shots that sent the game to OT, was made in a combined time of less than one second. 0.7 seconds to be exact.
Nice list for a season with few bright spots. Though, my favorite moment last season was over throwing Shaq and the Lakers in Philly that was the best moment in my opinion for us because it was a great game for Sammy considering the fact Shaq new nothing aboput him going in the game after the game he new every detail about his life as well as where he was born. It also showed me something that will carry over to this season it showed me we can beat Shaq if there is no one around him or not enough depth. I believe that karl was hurt during that game was Kobe hurt I forgot? Anyway we showed we can contain Shaq enough to beat the Lakers and that made me feel good about our future and now looking at the fact that miami has shaq I think we can beat them. Though that Knicks game was amazing didn't KT nail a three in that game, and Nazir messed up a couple of times to the end of the game.

Aw man... that Knick game. What a classic. I can remember Nazr's basket and how I thought it counted and I was so mad, lol.
I hate that game. It haunts me to that day. :thumbsdow I hated when Kenny Thomas hit that three.
lol so much pride in this room. I cant wait to see iverson reunited with his hungry teammates in kenny thomas and co., next season. which should be a very interesting season.
