Its about time! Now all we need is Hardaway and Run TMC will be complete. Then watch out, they will all come out of retirement like MJ.

Still nobody can bash Rick Barry as a player. He really carried the team all the way to the Warrior's only championship and he's stayed loyal to the bay area.
I'm very happy to see Richmond back with the Warriors. Although I am sort of confused by how Mullin is structuring the front office. He's the executive VP of basketball, though he seems to do everything a GM would. Higgins is the GM, even though you never hear from him. Now Richmond is a special assistant to the front office (whatever that is), which was the same title Mullin had two years ago. Oh, and Murry was named the strength and conditioning coach while Grabow became the director of athletic development, even though Grabow is always thought of as the strength coach... Sticking with the whole theme of things, I'd like to announce I've given myself the title of Executive Vice President of Special Assistance the Warriors Forucm Moderators. In addition, I'd like to announce that I will retain my duties as Collective Bargaining Agreement Frequently Asked Questions Guy and National Basketball Association Draft Guru. Of course that would be Trevor Walker, E.V.P.S.A.W.F.M., C.B.A.F.A.Q.G., N.B.A.D.G. for short... :two_thumb Seriously though, I'm trying hard not to let my confusion at the front office structure turn into serious concern. About a month ago, Tim Kawakami wrote an article saying that there was now a clear chain of command in the front office, and there had not been one for quite some time. I guess there is in that everyone knows Mullin is the guy running the show, but I'd be more comfortable if Mullin would clearly define the roles of guys like Higgins and Richmond (not to mention Saint). The best spin I can put on it is that Mullin is bringing back all the guys from the RUN TMC days and probably intends to turn the current team into RUN TMJ (Troy, Mike, Jason). As for Rick Barry, I'd love to see him get more involved with the Warriors. Now I'm not old enough to remember how he was as a player, but I've listened to him on KNBR long enough to see that he's not the arrogant jerk he's been labeled as. What I do see is a guy who's definately still a perfectionist, he's still very stubborn, and he's still pretty arrogant. I'd love to see him involved with the team, because I think he's a great teacher and he can teach a skill set that still relevant in today's game. In fact, I think there's a serious lack of fundamentals in today's NBA players, and that's exactly what Barry could teach them. The problem is that the head coach would have to have the right personality to keep Barry in check. He'd either have a stronger personality than Barry and be able to put him in his place from the get go, or he'd have to have enough self confidence to not feel threatened by Barry's influence on the team. I'm not sure Montgomery qualifies as either.
I would love to see Barry get involved with the Warriors too. I will always be a Barry fan as long as I live.
