Well as many Chicago Bull fans now our team gives out a award for team mvp after every season. Last season Hinrich won it after a impressive rookie season, and the year before that Jalen Rose won it after leading the team in scoring, and having a season where he was considered a possibly all star game canidate. So my question is who do you believe will win it this year with all this talent on the roster. Will it be Ben Gordon Final Four Champion, Third overall pick, and future NBA superstar as well as a canidate in many peoples minds for rookie of the year. Will he impress like kirk did and take home the hardware after this season ends or will be have to settle for just rookie of the year (hey I can hope right?). Will it be Chandler will he have a rebound season after a season plagued with injuries that set back his developement. After a summer in the weight room building up his back strength and overall strength for the regular seasonw ill he show the Bulls he deserves a big pay day at the end of the year? Then will it be Eddie Curry who in a summer where he was told that to make his chances for a max extension higher he would have to be at 285 before training camp will he prove the critics wrong and have a break out year? Do to his contract situation and the fact of his new found mobility with his weight lose going well. Will Hinrich improve his three point game even more and shine as a starter to capture Bulls player of the year back to back seasons? Also will a player like Deng or Nocino surpace expectation and surprise everyone? I know this is a question that can be best evaluated after the seasons tarts, but who is your pre season pick to win it?
Eddy Curry, he'll be our leading scorer, second in rebounds, with stats like these: 18.4 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 2.1 apg Its up for grabs, though. I won't be surprised with any selection.
jamal crawford..oh wait the bulls traded him (come on Paxson) well then i guess I'll say an underdog..Nocioni, he's going to be better then a lot of ppl expected.
Its a tough question, the Bulls have so much young talent and solid players, the players like Eddy Curry,Kirk,Ben Gordon and Luol Deng have t he chance tto become big players for the Bullls. But the player of the year will probally be Kirk Hinrich, its going to be his responsibility to be the leader and make everybody better,Kirk is a mature player and could be ready to lead the Bulls, even though he will only be a soph year player.
Im gonna say Kirk Hinrich. The way he played twards the end of the year was great. Now he is getting Tyson back. And three new players who can score. His assists will go up, and there will be less defensive pressure with these new scoring options.
I would say Curry because he has been in chicago the longest between the youngsters but anything may happen. This year Paxton made some great moves and I cant wait to see what the bulls will do.
I am going to say Hinrich with the scoring being spread out more (not just Crawford hoisting up every thing) this gives him potential for more assists and from all accounts he has worked hard on his shot and I see his Ppg going up. Barring a major injury I see his going on to have a great career he is hard working has a great basketball IQ and his skills are on the rise. Thank God we got him at #7 last year now lets see if this years #7 (Deng) can impress as much.
