    Frequently Asked Questions

    1.) Why can't I post?

    <div style="padding-left: 20px;">Upon registration, a confirmation email is sent to the email address that you registered with. Please note, if you are using Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail, there is a good chance your spam filter moved the confirmation email straight to your Junk Mail box.

    Please check your Junk Mail box for the confirmation email. If the email is no where to be found, you may have it re-sent to you. You have three options:

    1. Request the Confirmation Email here.
    2. Contact Us form, which can be found as a link at the bottom of the site.
    3. Emailing webmaster@justbball.com.

    By contacting the webmaster with a valid email address, your account will be manually activated.
    <font color="DarkRed">
    For the fastest reponse, please refer to Option 1.</font>

    This email verification is done to ensure that all of the registerations are legitimate people. Often times trouble-makers will attempt to register with bogus email address so they can troll on the boards without giving away their identity. Here at JBB, we work to maintain good fellowship.</div>

    2.) How can I get a custom user title?

    <div style="padding-left: 20px;">Custom User Titles must be earned. We will only give this privilege for members that are make exceptional contributions to the site, such as recruiting or exhibiting quality posts.

    If you meet any of these requirements, please submit your request in the subforum.Admin Drop Box</div>

    3.) How do I change my username?

    <div style="padding-left: 20px;">Please make your requests in the Admin Drop Box and an Administrator will get back to you shortly. Please post in the Admin Drop Box in the following format or else your request will be ignored:

    1. Current Username
    2. Requested Username<font color="DarkRed">*</font>

    <font color="DarkRed">*Make sure this username is available.</font>
    </div>

    4.) How can I help out the 76ers forum and JustBball.com

    <div style="padding-left: 20px;">We ask nothing more of you than to post intellegent and truthfull information with adherence to the JustBball Guidelines. There are no fees to pay, no "support the site" catches, just straight up basketball talk on its highest level.

    Things you can do to help out a forum grow are become a regular poster of that forum, and add your own opinions in specified posts, and/or create threads that will spark interest in the majorities eyes, and will move them to offer their own opinions.

    Avoid creating multiple threads about the same subject, and also avoid post padding. Post padding is posting just for the sake of it, without offering your input in that discussion, but just something to get you noticed. That is a very big "no-no" here at JustBball, and extreme measures will be taken against those who do post pad, and do not behave at a level of courtesy and respect towards everyone on JustBball.

    Another way of helping out any team forum, is getting involved with the latest happenings of that team, this means staying up to date with new news surrounding the franchise, its players, staff, etc. You may also create game threads when a game is scheduled and discuss that game there which will draw more visitors towards the 76ers forum, and JustBball in general.</div>

    5.) Where is the 76ers Lounge?

    <div style="padding-left: 20px;">The original premise of the team lounges was to reward forums had alot of active members,that maintained high traffic and generated lots of quality posts and discussions. We have gotten away from that in recent months.

    We feel that to maintain the integrity of our 'For Diehard Basketball Fans Only' stance we need to stick with the guidelines of a lounge as a reward for aforementions forums.

    These forums may once again be activated by doing the following things:

    1. Having between 10 - 15 'quality' members that post daily and contribute to the forum.
    2. Having a thriving forum with lots of quality message traffic.

    Some of you will say how is that done? The moderators of a forum need to recruit quality members and the members need to make the forum attractive to people by the quality posting and conversation.

    Making a quality forum takes work and I know some of you say you aren't moderators or your forums don't have moderators You don't need to be moderators to transform a forum into something good. Just be a dedicated member who wants to contribute and have a quality forum.</div>
