<div class="quote_poster">Quoting 30 standing ver:</div><div class="quote_post">Are they all doing Kobe's triple 6 routine? If so, they definately all be in great shape.</div> If they all did the "666 routine"...I'd feel sorry for every team in the league next season. I'm going to say that if anyone else was doing it, it would be Odom and possibly Walton...
Im very happy for kobe, he really deserves to play Well, without kobe, i dont think that the lakers would do that great...
New info about KB and the rest of the team practicing since September 8th. We're getting work ethic in that team again which is always good. Plus KB seems to be getting closer to the rest of the team another + of him becoming a leader. I can?t wait until the season starts. You need to register to read the full article but here?s the most interesting info. http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-lakers...eadlines-sports <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">But recent activity at the team's HealthSouth Training Center suggests a change in approach. Along with several new faces, there is an energy and work ethic that team officials say is unprecedented. "I've never seen this so early," said Gary Vitti, who recently returned from a summer in Italy to begin his 21st season as Laker trainer. "I got off the plane on Sept. 8 and they had already started. I walked into a full house. I couldn't believe how many guys were here strength training, shooting, doing drill work. There are guys coming back at night and shooting." One of the catalysts is Kobe Bryant. While Shaquille O'Neal has flexed his new physique on TV award shows and soaked in the life as unofficial mayor of Miami, Bryant has been conducting basketball business behind the scenes, calling Laker teammates on their cellphones and preaching the importance of early arrivals. "He's asking them to meet the coaches, meet each other and start working together and set the tone for what we're about to do this year," Vitti said. "With all the pressure, the changes that were made, a lot of heat was put on the team. I think a lot of people here feel pressure to succeed. I think they're trying to set the tone very early that this is the way it's going to be. This isn't going to be la-la land."</div>
<font color="Red">I'm excited as well. I just knew something like this was in the making. You had Kobe suprising show up at the Former Heat Players' press conference, then you have Kobe getting the team to suprising get in shape early. This is going to be a great year, and I can't wait to see what team we can put out there. People want to doubt our success, but they better not doubt our toughness. ALCS</font>
