apologize for the hockey analogy guys...but do u guys remember when eric lindros wanted to be a maple leaf? he even demanded that he be traded only to the leafs and yet he never became a leaf and now that he is at the end of his career and a free agent will he probably sign with the leafs for very little money so he can have his dream. same will probably happen to jalen rose right now no way is it possible unless the knicks want to give us a big contract that expires at the end of this season would the raptors even consider it, but the obvious question then is why on earth would the knicks want to do that!... jalen will be a raptor unless a blockbuster trade happens next year or the year after depending on jalen's contract. by the way how many more years are left on jalen's contract anyway? dont worry i will just google it
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Again, is it the point? If you have a personal agenda against me, I suggest we take it to PM's or AIM.</div> u don't get it. a high school phenomena enjoys a certain degree of leverage to do whatever he or she wants. similarly, jalen is allotted some leeway to make obnoxious trade demands if he so desires, that doesn't mean mlse will give in but they have to listen. u and the rest of us are relegated to the jbb message boards where nobody important listens, do u get it now?

Rose is 31, and he will get paid $12.7 million next year. Hell, he may ask for a trade, but will the Knicks want him? They already have Allan Houston there to take up their cap space, and I dobut that the Knicks would want Rose unless Houston is traded here, and the Raptors sure as hell won't want his contract. And the fact is that Jalen Rose didn't ask for a trade, and neither does he have a leverage to really get what he wants, so I don't see why we're arguing about nothing.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Is that the point? Is Jalen Rose's contract attractive to the Knicks? Will they want his contract?</div> The Knick's payroll is almost 100 million a year right now, and they are such a good franchise that they practically print money. So I don't think they care about paying a player a little too much.
