Radmanovic wants "near max" extension ESPN Insider is reporting that Vladimir Radmanovic has sent a contract extension proposal to team management a fortnight ago, asking for "near max" dollars. Considering their reluctance to give Ray Allen that sort of money, one can imagine their reaction that that sort of offer. Seattle have knocked back more than a few trade proposals this summer and want him back, but at that sort of cost? Chad Ford may not be the most reliable source but if it's true then it is practically like a trade demand. If Vlad's agent keeps pushing for this huge extension then it would definately put him on the chopping block. EDIT - You can't directly quote from Insider, instead you need to summarise it like above - SS
I'm not going to believe any more of this stuff until I see it in a Seattle Newspaper, straight from the source. Not that I'd believe Chad Ford anyway.
i believe Radman is a good player, have potential, but he needs to act like a man, not like an immature 16 years old kid... maybe a team change wouldn't hurt him, but he's able to have 18 ppg 6rpg,
Like you Casual, I don't believe that for a second. I also don't believe we would have knocked back numerous trade proposals, considering the problems we had last season with he and Lewis in the same rotation.
Right, this seemed like it was another one chad fords "rumors" that he makes up all the time just to make a deadline. His agent probably did send in an extension proposal but no where near a "near max" offer. Management may have knocked back trade proposals if they weren't getting what they thought was equal value for him. Management thinks very highly of Radman but that thought is not shared throughout the rest of the league. I just don't feel other teams around the league are willing to give the sonics what they want for him. btw, sorry for the rule violation
I could care less if it this rumor was true or not. Radmonovic and I have the same chance of getting a maximum contract extension. I really doubt that he will be resigned following this year.
