Rockets 1995 Mario Elie Facing elimination in 5 games in the first two rounds, and we won every game. We came back from 1-2 deficit in the first round, and a 1-3 deficit in the second round. It was all capped off in the 7th game against Phoenix, when Mario Elie hit a game-winning 3 pointer from the corner and blew a "kiss of death" to the Phoenix bench. That was awesome. Also loved watching Hakeem's domination over league MVP David Robinson in the WCF. That's about the time the media really started to pour on all the accolades. Those were fun times.
Heat 96-97 season Tim Hardaway In decisive game 7 against Knicks in playoffs, Tim Hardaway scored 38 points including 18 in 3rd quarter. He was unstoppable and those 3 consecutive in-your-face 3 points was probably the best moments for Timmy too. Well that was heat's best year as well.
Boston Celtics Game 7, 1965 Eastern Conference Finals John Havlicek The Celtics were leading the Sixers 110-109 with 5 seconds remaining in the Game 7 of the 1965 Eastern Conference Finals, the Sixers had one last chance to score and win the game and when they inbounded the ball, John Havlicek stole it and ran out the clock in which the Celtics then went on to defeat the Lakers 4-1 in the NBA Finals. This moment was immortalized forever in sports history by the greatest commentator of all time, Johnny Most.

I mean, he wouldn't be credited with a steal, if they kept such statistics then. He deflected the ball over to a teammate (I forget who).
Toronto Raptors 1999-2000 Regular Season Vince Carter On March 8, 2000 versus the LA Clippers on the road, the Raptors were trailing the Clippers throughout the whole game, but Vince's leadership always kept the Raptors close, as Vince's one handed tomahawk alleyoop changed the momentum of the game towards the Raptors near the end of the 4th quarter, and in the final seconds of the game, the Raptors were down by 2, 94-92, but Vince was poised and determined to hit the game winning shot which he did by nailing a 3 pointer over 2 defenders. The celebration was crazy, as Dell Curry was physically harrassing Vince who went to the floor in excitement while Butch Carter was going nuts too.
chicago bulls 1997-1998 michael jordan cant belivev no one said this but jordans last shot as a bull come on do i really have to explain

So, it was bittersweet for me.
los angeles lakers 1997-1998 kobe bryant season full of excitement, sophomore kobe grew his hair and his game, he was downright explosive and was showing people he was one of the better six men in the L. the lakers won like the first 12-13 games of the regular season... they had a very good season including a four game sweep against the Sonics after trailing 0-1 in that playoff series... all was good, all thought the exciting lakers would finally go to the Finals against MJ's Bulls until Utah swept them in the conference finals.
Chicago Bulls 1989 Conference Finals Michael Jordan Im sure everyones heard it or seen it. The double pump over Craig Ehlo. Im sure cavs fans still have trouble watching it.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobe-360:</div><div class="quote_post">What are your favorite NBA moments ever. Team- Year- Player/Players- Explanation-</div> BUlls 1998 Micheal Jordan and Karl Malone. Well it was part of the greatest play in micheal jordans career. Okay we all remeber the follow through shot to win the 1998 NbA championship but its Mikes steal from malone that was a play that went full circle(my favorite nba moment). because the exact opposite happened in the 1995 when the bulls met the Magic. if you recall jordan was not taking care of the ball and Nick anderson stole the ball from mike and won the game for the Magic ( my worst NbA moment). the summer after the rumor was mike is washed up but he came back to win 2 more championships and made that play to seal the last of his second 3peat.
Game 2 on Thursday, 8 May,2002: Sacramento loses at Dallas, 132-pts-110 Dallas scores an NBA record 83 points in the first half! I was there, the place was totally rocking. The Mavs only led 44-40 after the first quarter. Believe it or not, this was not a lack of defense, Dallas just ran the court and jacked up threes with like 21 seconds left on the shot clock. They were raining from every direction. I've never seen so many guys just go off at the same time. It was like the ABA had returned!

Team: 76ers year: can't remember Player: dr.j Dr.j's swooping reverse layup while playing against the lakers. I remember seeing that on espn classic it was the best wove I have ever seen. for someone to hang in the air that long is amazing.
Team- Chicago Bulls Year- 1993 Player/Players- Paxson and the Bulls it was an amazing play. the coach (Phil Jackson?) was a genius. the Bulls were down 2 against the Suns. MJ got the ball to Pippen who gave it to Horace Grant down low. Paxson was left wide open as his defender closed in on Grant. Grant tossed the ball to Paxson behind the 3-point line and he sinked the shot.
