They both great players. There's no point to say who's better than who. I think LeBron is more of all around player and Melo is a natural scorer. They're both gonna become superstars in this league. This debate won't end just like other debates such as "Garnett vs. Duncan" or "Shaq vs. Kobe". They both are just kids and already in NBA and top prospects. I give them respect.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">While Melo isn't that much of a leader, he certainly showed Kobe-like skills by hitting shots and leading Denver to victory at the end of the year. And while he was nagged by an ankle injury last year, he still performed well. I will agree that LeBron might be a born natural leader. However, I don't expect a 20 year old sophmore to be a leader like Jason Kidd or something, nor do I expect that yet from LeBron either.</div>
I know what you mean, Melo is more composed down the stretch, sometimes LJ would try to force it, and he would also commit turnovers in clutch situations. They both have their strengths and their weaknesses.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">Jamal Mashburn is a good player man, I do think Melo will be better than him, but you made it sound like Mash is not that good.

I don't feel he has the leaderships skills though, he might have at Syracuse, but he hasn't shown it all the time in the NBA, though he's had flashes.

well sry about that i do respect Jmash and hes a tremendous player but carmelo and lebron are in a class of their own.

and i disagree with u on this one i believe he does posses the leadership skills. Everyone on the nuggets team respect him and is considered the leader for this ball club regardless of his age, everyone knows its his team

Of course everyone know's it's his team. However, he was not able to speak up and be emotional when the Nuggets were going through that terrible stretch near the end of the year. But, he picked it up with amazing games against the Blazers and Sonics though and showed flashes of leadership skills (as og15 already said).

Are all of you completely out of your minds? The best is clearly Yao Ming! He is 7'6 and weighs over 300 lbs! He got more blocks and rebounds than that Amare chump!

    Oh, sorry, wrong debate!
