Is it just me or is this coach part of the problem. This guy has coached two teams, both teams won about 20 games with an all time winning percentage of .275%,I dont think thats a coincidence, the Magic signed him as an interm coach but they have said in the past that he will be the Magic head coach. What I would have done was gone after a better coach,at least a coach with winning expierence, coached like Byron Scott,Jim Obrien,or maybe even Rudy T. If the Magic continue to struggle this season, then the Magic organization should consider going after a new coach fo this team.

I think every Magic fan knows that JD is part of Orlando's problems. We can't do anything about it though just sit back and watch what the man does. IMO Doc shouldn't have been fired but then again that's just me.
To be fair to Davis, both times he was given the reigns after the original coach was fired due to their inability to win games. Both teams were destined to be sludge-feeders. Poor guy had to take over for not one, but two crappy teams. Just because he isn't high profile doesn't mean that he doesn't know what he's doing. I'm not saying that I believe he's the best coach for the team, but I'm also not jumping the gun and saying that he should be fired based on his prior tenures. ..Just my two cents.
I definetely agree, he is definetely a big part of the problem. When I was watching the games last year, I was wondering if JD knew what he was doing. He kept making bad substitutions and he never changed the gameplan. I gotta bring this up again. I remember one game against the Miami Heat, Lamar Odom got the ball up top and Declerq came up to guard him, Odom flew right past Declerq for an easy layup/dunk. This happened 4-5 consecutive plays. You would think after the 2nd one, he would change it up. Well he didn't. We really need a new coach.
