His decision making and accuracy were horrible during the game. Oh, and he threw for as much as he did because the Eagle's couldn't get anything going on the ground.
The first pick was definately not a bad pass. It was a steal by Harrison. I'm not saying McNabb played awsome. I'm saying there were many factors.

When it happens all the time it stops being...well he didn't play well....or he made bad decisions....or the ball floated...and it should start being damn this defense is pretty good.

On offense they struggled early but got the job done and didnt turn it over. On defense they shut down the run and forced the ball into Mcnabbs hands. Thye dared Mcnabb to beat them with his arm. Single coverage on the field, and he just made BAD throws, the patriots new he would choke, forced the eagles to let him. Great gameplan.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (JustBry07)</div><div class='quotemain'>Why is there always some new excuse that MOST Eagles fans must find to clear McNabb of him just being a choker? Just face the facts for once, shit!</div> The reason is because he doesn't choke as often as people say he does. Besides the SB and the TB game, I think he's done a great job. I have trouble believing the sick excuse, but he was probably winded or dehydrated. It's funny how everyone ignores my last post, and I guess I'll say it again. Look at his TD passes to L.J. Smith and Westbrook, they were great. He just ran out of gas, and the Pats took advantage of that. I'm not giving much credit to the Patriots for shutting down our offense, because they didn't. First off, we don't run the ball often anyway, and secondly, we scored 21 points on the "godly" defense. What lost us the game was Simo-no tackle. I think if Keith Adams was in, we would've been able to stop the screen better. Besides all that, the Patriots had what, 0 points off turnovers? I wasn't impressed with the Pats that much, but they did beat us. Anyway, I want you all to realize that McNabb said he wasn't sick, and Freddie never had to call a play. ESPN and everyone else is the one blowing this out of proportion, and personally I feel none of this has a point anyway. We lost by 3 points, and had we gotten the onside kick THEN McNabb threw the pick, I would say he definetly choked, but the jury is still out. He had to go 96 yards in under a minute, I wasn't too optimistic to begin with. That last pick was just a desperate effort, so I expected the pick.

its over already... so what if McNabb was sick (or choked). The Patriots won fair and square. It was fair anyways, Tom Brady had some sad moments before the game with his grandmother passing away and he wan't able to attend the funeral. Just wait until next year for them to get revenge. http://www.nfl.com/schedules/tv/2005_opponents

"He fought to the end," center Hank Fraley told Comcast SportsNet on Monday. "He gave it his all. He was almost puking in the huddle. One play had to be called by (wideout) Freddie Mitchell because Donovan was mumbling because he was almost puking." Offensive lineman Jon Runyan also echoed Fraley's comments in the same interview aired on two local radio stations on Tuesday morning after the Comcast report. And Mitchell confirmed to NBC 10 News in an interview that Mitchell was forced to call out a play, McNabb was hurt and he was ill in the huddle. McNabb was visibly shaken just before halftime when the helmet of Patriots lineman Richard Seymour struck his jaw on a tackle. Videotape shows that McNabb seem dazed after the big hit, rubbed his jaw several times on the field and looked at his hand to see if anything was on it. McNabb was shaky in Philadelphia's 24-21 loss to the England Patriots on Sunday, throwing for 357 yards and three touchdowns, was also getting picked off three times. McNabb misfired on several passes early, held the ball too long in other instances and made several poor decisions. One of the best scramblers in the NFL, McNabb had zero yards rushing on just one carry and was sacked four times. An Eagles spokesman did not immediately return a phone call Tuesday.</div> So he was choking on his own vomit as well as choking under pressure. I like how convienantly they lay out another excuse for his failure to get it done. Injury, sickness, no quality WR, etc.</div> agreed
