Denver has lost reserve forwards Chris Andersen and Michael Doleac to free agency. Rodney White's future with the team remains in limbo as the free-agent forward sits in a Washington, D.C., jail on a felony charge of carrying a pistol without a license.

Barry could not be reached for comment. He averaged 6.2 points and started a career-high nine times in 2003-04, his first season with Denver</div>

Jon Barry would be a great addition to the hawks, he would be a good fit on the team. But would he be the starter or would Tony Delk? I like Tony more for the starting job but Jon should get significant minutes if he gets signed.

I really dont know much about jon barry. I only know what i saw last year when he played with denver. and i was not really impressed

i'm really iffy about signing him. but i guess he would give us more bodies on our team.

I just dont like the shot selection in which i saw him taking and missing during denvers playoffs last year. though if barry wants to try and be our point. i say what the hay give him a try.

Jon Barry would deffiantly be a positive addition to the Hawks,he is a vet that has good leadership qualities and could give the Hawks a good defender and a good shooter skill wise.

Jon Barry could really help out the Hawks, although he would be reluctant to go there. At his age he would be after a ring, not being part of a young developing team. If he did end up with Hawks, his experience and leadership could really help them out. He could teach Josh Childress a thing or two as well. He can still produce off the bench, and would make the Hawks a more respectable team.

I disagree with the first bit. From all accounts, Jon just wants to go somewhere he can help out, and his family lives in Atlanta and his kids go to school there. Taking all that into account, and with what a young team Atlanta are, I'd say it's a really nice fit for him if he does sign.
