He deffiantly deserves it,the people who are expecting to be on the 2008 USA team should thank him,now.
Manu deserves a break for sure playing the whole season with the Spurs and doing so good then going to the International games and doing really good well amazing because him and his team mates did the impossible, win the gold medal.
Manu is defintely entitled to a break now. Throughout the year, he has been under pressure to perform through Basketball whether it be for the Spurs in a tense playoff series or Argentina with his country's pride on the line. He is human, and deserves to have a break from Basketball to relax, which he doesn't get much opportunity to do.
