yer i jis wanted to know if allen iverson can dunk, i havent seen him dunk before and my friend had a debate with me over it that he could. but me not knowing i really didnt having anything to come back with soo yer can he??
Iverson was a high fligher early in his career, now days he doesnt dunk as much,he barely does but he did this year in the olympic games.I think AI's 44 inch vert may have lowered a little.
Yea lol, I'm an inch shorter than him at 5'10, and I can dunk, and my vertical isn't as high as his, also I've seen him dunk many times so I know he can, and the pictures obviously show he can too.
His 1997 Play Of The Year by dunking on Marcus Camby off his teammate's missed shot is unbelieveable and unforgettable.
does any one remember the dunk iverson did about 3 years ago i dont remenber who they were playing but someone put up a shot and it came off the rimthere were at least 5 people under the rim and it flew past his head he caught it and put it through Nique style if your from philly you should know what im talking about. p.s. at georgetown thats all he used to do was dunk when he was on the break.
I guess you're pretty young bizam. Well 15 right, so I guess that's why you don't know that he could dunk. I think I've seen him dunk at least twice this past regular season. And didn't he dunk on Camby during their college days? I remember they listed him at 6'2, but everybody could tell that he probaly isn't even 6 feet. How come know could Stockton ever dunk in the Utah thread? Well it really isn't important. But I actually would be surprised if he could even standing at 6'1.

I remember the first time I ever really noticed Iverson was when I was watching a Georgetown game, and he tipped dunked a missed freethrow over this other dude. I jumped out of my seat in amazement.
of course allen can dunk.but i think ive read an article before saying that nowadays he chooses not to maybe to conserve his energy so he just goes for lay ups.

The only player I know of that's in the NBA that can't dunk is Travis Best. And that was never his style anyway. And there was one more, that I can't remember of right now.

Allen hasn't dunked in a while, and by the looks of this thread there isn't much evidence of it as of late. The latest picture is one that is two years old, and that is a long time in an athletes career, and especially in Allen's, since he has declined dramatically in the last two years. His game now consists of hitting midrange shots mainly, and at times driving to the lane. He seldom ever goes and provides us with a dunk, or a freestyle layup. However, I remember seeing him dunk on a fastbreak this past season, nothing spectacular though, run one handed set up into a two handed put in. Before, he would just over people, and do all kinds of crazy stuff. But he is getting older, and for a guy his size that endures that much punishment night in an night out at his age, is really hard to do those type of things.
Whats wrong with lay ups they all count 2 points It dont matter whether you dunk or lay up the ball it counts 2 points either one with Lay ups having a more sucees rate and yes Iverson can dunk
When he does dunk, it's always the ball being brought up in 1 hand and then either a nice soft 1 hand or 2 hand dunk. Anyway : Who needs to dunk when your AI?
