<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TheBeef)</div><div class='quotemain'>DT is the biggest weakness on defense right now and should be addressed....</div> I totally agree. The run D was bad to start out last season but when Chester joined T Bo on the DL then things truly went down the crapper. I am surprised Zach made it thru the season. Chester will be back. However, T Bo is gone. I would love to see Sione Pouha from the U of Utah as his replacement. Those of you who watched the Fiesta Bowl know he could be quite the steal. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE ( FLORIDA PACKER)</div><div class='quotemain'>I was at that Game! Can someone send me a picture of this event?
Im getting tired of all this "draft" stuff, lol. So many names pop up as best candidates for RB, QB and what not. QB: Alex Smith, Rodgers, Jason White, Orton RB: Fason, Benson, others whom i cant name Now Miami might release Olindo Mare to get Matt Nugent (which i think is dumb...Olindo Mare is awesome...I doubt Matt Nugent could kick a 53 yarder, or even a 45 yarder). When was the last time we saw a damn GOOD rookie kicker?? I already dislike Saban...he needs to do what'll get Miami in the playoffs THIS year...so he should sign veterans, not rookies...because college and NFL are totally different. Now Derrick Pope is an exception, he was a 7th rounder and is one of the best linebackers (id say) on the Dolphins. He needs to start with Zach Thomas and Junior Seau
I understand your desire to win now. The thing about Mare is the last 3 years of his career have been his worst three years in terms of FG % all below 80%. He does have a great leg, he has a lot of power. He also has that really high cap number, which isnt going to go, with him having 3 straight bad years. Nugent has made a 53 yarder field goal, and a 52 yard field goal, both last year. He has a great leg also, he is younger and making a 53 yarder in college can be harder, especially since they have the hash marks spread out so far. I think they would be well served to grab a young kicker. It is not the most critical of position, i would be more worried what they do in the football player department.
I think you guys should just quit cus we are the best and will win it all again!!!! haha sorry got bored and didn't have much to say so figured I'd say something anyways...by the way who am I ?
OKAY....maybe Miami can draft Matt Nugent, and work him out for the pre-season and summer training and see how he does. If he does well, they can release Olindo Mare. If not, they keep Mare. Agreed?
No....if they draft a kicker it will be because Mare has been released long ago....There are a few probloems with your plan, 1st, vets cost money and the Dolphins are already $17 million over the cap, that means they will have to part ways with a lot of talent....when a 4-12 football team has to lose talent, I dont see them as a legit playoff contender especially in a division with the 2 time defending champs, another team that was a Fg away from the AFC Title game and the team that was the hottest thing going down the regular season stretch....I firmly believe in Sabans system....get young, get fast, establish a strong middle class....why do I believe in it? cause its exactly what the Patriots did....you think its easy to watch players like Bledsoe or Malloy leave your team? Its never easy, and wont be easy with Surtain and company, but salary dictates action and they have a lot of action that needs to be taken before the 1st week in March.....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pats37)</div><div class='quotemain'>I think you guys should just quit cus we are the best and will win it all again!!!!</div> Just remember trophy boy that pride goeth before the fall. If any team in the AFC East should quit its Buffalo.
The NFL is structured in such away that the rich can not get richer, they only get poorer....the salary cap is a modern day robin hood, taking from the rich and giving to the poor, and it will evantually catch up to them....whether they want to think about it or not, there is a pretty good chance that over the next 10 years, the Patriots will have a few losing seasons, a few winning seasons, and a few average seasons. Its unlikely they will win another title in that time, not becuase of who they are or who plays for them, but because titles are rare...only 3% of the teams get to win a title each year, that means that there is no such thing as a favorite, everyone is a longshot....
I was kidding...it was my Tom imitation....trust me I understand that it shouldn't last but the only thing that gives me hope that we might be able to get one more or at least stay highly competitve is how we conitue to fill positiions with younger players and don't miss a beat (some easy examples: randall gay, Asante Samuel, Eugene Wilson, Jarvis green) not to mention our ability to devlope players like steven neal who never even played college ball...thats part of the reason we could contiue to be a top team...

You will be getting tired of the other team that goes on a run after the Pats....within 3 years you will be so sick of watching the "insert team here" win Super Bowls and be talked about as the next dynasty....I think the Colts are that team and I know a couple of Colts titles would drive the Pats fans nuts....
the colts will onlyh win if they don't have to play the pats in the playoffs, until that happens i don't think they will win. billy has peyton's numbers, and poor little peyton can't win again him. and the only thing worse then if the colt's win is if miami wins the super bowl.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TOMW74)</div><div class='quotemain'>the colts will onlyh win if they don't have to play the pats in the playoffs.</div> Then tell me in your opinion, who will beat the pats in the playoffs? Unless of course you think they will never lose a playoff game for as long as brady and belichek are there. I just want to see where you stand.
well sense the pair hasn't lost a playoff game yet, i would love to see them continue winning. I think we will have to wait until next season and see which team is a strong team, one that is strong enough to beat the pats. it will be interesting to see who they get for an offensive coordinator, but i think they will keep with their system and continue to win next year. The eagles had their chance, it's too bad for them that they didn't have enough stamina. The pats find a way to beat who ever they are playing when it counts. they find a way to win and fight to the end of the game to try and do it.

At least you arent arrogant about this dominance you have percieved and dont throw it in peoples faces even though you had nothing to do with the wins, oh wait, you do. You do this in the style of thousands of bandwagon jumpers over the years. PREDICTED RESPONSE: I am sorry you are gealous the patriots won and your looser team didnt. The patriots are the best in the league and bill is a genious and will keep winning, so you should quit crying and stop rooting for your loser teams, and give the patriots the credit they deserve. MY RESPONSE: I dont know if you realize this, but i am making fun of you, not the patriots. It is easy to do. It is hard to knock the patriots they are on top. You are just a pilor fish, wishing he was a shark, and everyone on the forums reads your posts and my responses and laughs at you. PREDICTED RESPONSE: You are an #$$ you need to stop hatting the patriots, just cuz your loser team didnt win. why dont you grow up. *-misspellings in responses are intentional
a little bitter hey.... what's funny is you make fun of my post but you don't say they are wrong, just a few miss spellings. what a jack#@%... that's ok you always have next year. patriots rule....
