Suns president Bryan Colangelo indicated that the team wants to add the center, however they are having trouble getting a hold of him. Now, Colangelo is leaning toward leaving the roster where it stands. "Is it realistic to think that somebody else can make the team?" Colangelo wondered. "Whether we add another player is an uncertainty." Without Williams, the Suns will shuffle Jake Voskuhl, Steven Hunter, and even Amare Stoudemire at the center position.</div> <div align="center">Link</div>
Scott Williams shoudl be signed to keep Amare Stoudemire happy, he's the future of the suns, and the NBA you gotta keep him happy and away from playing center he is a power forward. I think they should sign him because he is a great veteran and a would make Amare happy.
What ameks you think Scott Williams would satisfy Amare,Williams was already on the Suns a couple of seasons back(I think)and I dont think he could give the Suns much just another body to bring on the team,I doubt if he played he will contribute much either Williams is pretty old and would probally stay injured the whole time on the Suns roster.
I think he means it would satisfy Amare because it would give the Suns another player to play C instead of Amare. I don't think they'll play STAT at C, they have enough players to play that spot (Lampe, Vroman, Hunter, Zarko). Not signing Scott is a smart choice.
