Interesting. I really don't like Wally, and Sam is one of the shoot first guys
that might not be the best choice. Still there is chemistry among Sam, Garnett
and Spree, and I wouldn't break it up. As is, Minnie is probably behind only San
Antonio as the top contender, a few cards fall their way, and they can win it all.
Do you risk this for a guy with a bad knee? Like I said, I do believe Wally will
be traded, they play better without him. But Sam had a great year last year.

I dont know, i think Sam is alot better than kidd and EJ/Wally is hella bertter than eric williams.</div>

Its Aaron Williams not Eric Williams that would be traded. And its all about fit not who's better in this case, and Cassell is a better fit for the wolves then Kidd imo. The Wolves live & die by the pick & roll between the point guard/KG. They wont be able to run that play anymore because evry team would go under the picks forcing Kidd to be a shooter everytime and well hmmm...Kidd cant shoot. So the wolves would have to totally change their offensive style. The Wolves are better standing as is, in my opinion.

The Wolves rely on Sam's scoring too much to give him up that easily. Besides, of the Big three Sam and KG are the only consistant 2.

Kidd will not bring the scoring that the Wolves need. The wolves are not a fast break team, or even a team with players that can't create. Kidd's only use is making mediocre players above average to excellent players. KG doesn't need alleyoop passes, Spree is a slasher on his own.

For the Wolves this trade would be a step backwards, because they would also be losing Wally's bench scoring.

If the the T'wolves get Kidd it will be a step froward. Kidd is currently the best point guard in the NBA. The wolves don't need scoring because everyone else will be when Kidd gives them those assists. The wolves might not have thrived in transition like the top teams in the NBA however, when they get Kidd they will. Kidd has Sprewell and Kevin Garnett to run with him. I believe this is a better trio then him Jefferson and Martin at least I would rather have it. There is a reason why Kidd was all NBA First Team instead of second. Also Szcerbiak will be making WAY too much money coming off the bench. The T'Wolves have Hudson shooting .403 3pt% off the bench.

Shouldnt really be an arguement, Cassell is almost the perfect pg for Garnett and the T'Wolves system.

I don't understand why this is even a subject. The only point that I would consider (off of the top of my head) is Mike Bibby as tradeable for Cassell. He fits too well to mess with the structure. Now, if they wanted Hudson, his bags would be reaching Jersey by the end of the conversation.

Leave the lineup alone i say. This team still has it. The chemistry will only be greater than last season and i see them making a another title run, however as much as i love them, if they don't take it this season or next it will be a dissapointment n sammy n spree will be gettin older. This is there best chance, rite now. Wolves 4 the ring in 04-05!

Only one person thinks that it would be a good signing. But it's pretty obvious it's not. Jason is a great team player but with this kinda team that was already the best in the West would mess up everything. Minny has all the pieces they need and I think they will be the champions this coming year.

As much as I'd love Kidd to be a fit on this great team, it would not work out. Like everyone said, Sammy is a much better fit for this team than Kidd. I still don't think that Sam is better though, for me, Kidd is the best down to the line. But who knows now since the Nets are gonna be garbage, and he got surgery. It's like a nightmare.
