Don't get me wrong, I'm one of Peja Stojakovic's biggest supporters and I would love to see him stay a King for as long as possible, but if he dosen't want to be here then we have to consider the posiblity that he might be traded. What do you guys think the chances are that Petire would send Peja to Toronto for Vince and a couple of fillers (Morris Peterson maybe?) Both players want out and Vince would be a decent fit in the Kings offence (if he remained healthy for any amount of time) and a guy like Peterson is a decent 3pt shooter. I would hate to see this happen. What are your opinions?

I Wouldn't want Peja to go,but getting a healthy Vince Carter wouldn't be bad at all.i don't think it would happen, but imao Carter as a King.now that's something to think about here. [IMG]

Our Offence would improve, but could Carter help out with our lack of Defense.if he can help the defense out, than i would be up for it.

Carter for Peja...Hmmmmn...not a bad idea [IMG]

Vince and fillers for Peja? What's Peja a superstar now?

First of all Vince makes more than Peja so you can't send Vince + fillers, second of all, Vince himself is more than enough for Peja, maybe it should be Peja and fillers [IMG].
The most the Raptors would give for Peja is Vince alone, and they would likely be asking for the fillers, not the other way around [IMG]

You gotta realize that Peja is not in the same league as those players who have to create shots for their teams and themselves all day, not get the ball handed of to them for a jumper by Divac and Brad Miller, put Peja in the shoes of Iverson, Pierce, Tmac, Vince, and he's garbage.

Also Vince only missed 9 games last season and part of that was due to Bruce Bowen "attacking" him, so the "if he remained healthy for any amount of time" comment is really not relevant.

    Og15, Amen.

However, on toronto's point of view,if the y want a brand new start, and want to remove themselves from a selfish play and a more team oriented, faster team, then Peja would do alright, but I don't know what Mitchell wants.

I think this trade idea is simply terrible.

the raptors already have mo' and i'm not comparing mo and peja, but the raps are loaded with sf so he's not really needed. and remember they also have lammond murray.

From a fans standpoint, I wouldn't mind this trade at all. I'm not a fan of both teams anyways, so I would love to see VC more on tv. As for Peja and the Mo Pete situation. Why can't Mo just move to the 2 spot since he's the shorter of the two. After Vince, who's Toronto's back up SG anyways?

    re.

There's no way the Kings can afford VC's 12.5 million or whatever he needs to be paid next year.
