<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Henacy:</div><div class="quote_post">I agree, I was just saying that him spotting up off of PP creating, is stronger then him creating his own jump shot. So thats alot different from Cassell, who mainly creates his own shot.</div>

True true. SamIAm is also a great post player.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Banks is a thief, he is a really great defender gets a lot of steals and can usually convert the lay up on it hes improving greatly on his shot, if he gets the chance, he can really shine</div>
True also. but he needs to really, really improve his decision making and shooting. If he does, he could be a solid player. I hope he does, I'd like to see this kid shine. in Boston.

I also totally forgot until I read the article Ranter posted that both Banks and Payton live in Vegas, and they supposedly see each other often and have a good relationship. Interesting, I wonder how that will affect all of this.

Eh, I don't really care much about this trade whether it happens or not. I think Banks may become a decent player eventually, but I don't think he will ever be what some people think he will be. I like Luke Walton, I think he would be a pretty good acquisition along with George for basically what I would consider nothing. Banks always impressed me with his D, but I don't think he'll ever be able to put on as much pressure as he wants to without fouling out every game. He is not a good shooter and he has zero court awareness ability, while that is Walton's strongest attribute.

If we do end up with Walton, then Doc would be able to get creative with his lineup occasionally when Walton is on the floor. A player like Delonte West would benefit from Walton because then they could run plays for him off the ball since he is such a great shooter. I saw a couple Lakers games last year in which Walton was the most important factor in them winning the game. He's a smart player and he knows who to get the ball to.

Eric is saying the deal is still possible if Gary shows up and plays nice.
