Even though we sucked at the linebacker positions, I don't think we should draft there. The problem is not physical talent, its maturity, and it is a rare find when you can draft maturity and talent.

I would definitely look at drafting a top CB. Second priority would be any defensive lineman. Third, we need more offensive linemen.

Sounds good to me. I would probably put the offensive line 2nd than defensive line 3rd

What pick do y'all have, 20?? IF so i think maybe going with:

Anttaj Hawthorne, DT, Wisconsin - Quick inside penetrator who makes a lot of plays in the opposing backfield. Very light on his feet and has good quickness off the snap of the ball. Is slightly undersized as far as NFL defensive tackles go but makes up for it because he has good strength and power. Quick inside penetrator similar to Corey Simon.

Kevin Burnett, OLB, Tennessee - He is an excellent open field tackler. He does a good job of staying home and isn't fooled by misdirection. He does a little more reacting than he does reading and anticipating and will have to work on his recognition skills. He has the lateral quickness to avoid blocks and can quickly shed lead blockers, but doesn't have the strength to take plays straight on. Explosive outside backer with great speed much like Denver's DJ Williams.

Justin Miller, CB, Clemson - In coverage, he's fluid and has good recovery speed. He's shown good ball skills and plays the ball well in the air. Sometimes, he plays too physically though and draws a penalty here and there. Miller is also a dangerous return specialist who could help a team on Special Teams as well. Not too big, but plays big and physical similar to Antoine Winfield.

Adam Terry, OT, Syracuse - He shows great aggressiveness and plays until the whistle. He will need to continue to improve his strength, which is good now, but he has the frame to add bulk and strength. He has shown decent foot speed and ability to get out into the open field and make blocks on screens. Tall, quick and athletic tackle who can play the left side similar to John Tait.

I don't think J. Miller will be there nor Hawthorne. But if so i believe they would be the two top people. Burnett would definitely give y'all some option at the LB position.

Sounds like you may have two to choose, if all goes as planned. Does this mean Williams or Edwards is now on the radar? Antrel Rolle?

    The basket just got upset.....

well since the vikings have the 18th pick you better project your picks to be 22nd. you know because of past history

The way I see it is that Mike Williams is the best choice, you basically get back what you traded! and some extra with Napolean Harris, I honestly think That Mike Williams IS DA MAN!

Well, if he runs the 4.6 he ran last year, you certainly dont have the deep threat you had before. There is no way he is that threat no matter what. He may be as productive, but defenses wont play the way they played the vikes last year. I expect culpepper's number drop drastically

ROLLE ROLLE he's y'alls man if he can't do it then Tice gets canned!!!!!!!

If ROLLE is there and the Vikes don't snag him, that would be the worst move in NFL history.

With two young rising stars, Dontarrius Thomas and Napoleon Harris, at LB i don't see y'all drafting a LB. Also with Nate Burleson and Marcus Robinson stepping up, i don't think drafting a WR would be a good move in the first round. Hopefully Tice will make a move in the FA market for a descent Vet LB and maybe a OT. But i definitely fee y'all need to take a chance on S. Rolle. He's a piece to the puzzle that y'all have been missing.

    My pick is A. Rolle

I agree with Bleed, people seem to forget about Marcus Robinson and Burleson. Plus, Kelly Campbell can step up. A receiver at no.7 is not a good pick. They should pick Antrell Rolle if he is there, or Pac Man Jones. They need a solid corner the most. They should upgrade the WR position via Free Agency. Plaxico Burress would make people forget about Moss, to a degree.

so now they have the 7th pick and the 18th pick, i'd say Rolle and if hes there on the 18th pick take Mike Williams, or maybe you should get a rb, Bennett keeps gettin injured. Cadillac Williams or Ronnie Brown could be good. But thats if they keep the 7th pick and the 18th pick. They could end up with the 10th pick and the 22nd pick. (snicker snicker)

Rolle needs to run a good time when he works out or he will begin a free fall....I already hear rumors that hes not fast enough to play CB, but they still say he would be a top safety....
