05 Draft who should the Viks take 1st round?

    No chance at drafting a RB. The Vikings are one of the deepest teams at the RB position. The problem is that every RB has their downside. Bennett keeps getting hurt, and with Moss gone, I don't think he'll be able to find the big holes he needs to break any run. Onterrio Smith is one drug violation from being suspended for the year, and Mewelde Moore is too untested to rely on.

    My hope right now is that Braylon Edwards is available at the 7th pick, although I doubt this will happen. Mike Williams could be a steal. I really don't like drafting CB as the position requires some good experience, so I would rather see us acquire a CB through free agency.

    I think the 18th pick will go to help the D-Line, or as a surprise pick help out the offensive line some.

    I am biased, but i dont think any defensive player in the country is better than rolle. I watched him play 5 times, and everytime he was making plays all over the field, vs the pass, vs the run. I dont know that thier is a better playmaker

    Its either Derrick Johnson or Antrell Rolle 7th and Troy Willaimson or Michael Clayton 18th preferably Troy

    HE would be a great pick up but i doubt he will be there at 7

    Yea i think he will be there. That is actually a good pick. But I think Derrick Johnson is a nobrainer if hes there. Hes to good of a talent to pass up but if he AINT THERE THEN WE CAN DEFINITELY PICK UP JAMES OR ROLLE
