<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Honored by the Make-A-Wish Foundation on Sunday afternoon at Universal City Walk, Shaquille O'Neal made one wish of his own: For Karl Malone to join him in playing for the Miami Heat this season. "I haven't talked to Karl yet, but I would like Karl to join me in Miami," O'Neal said. "So Karl, if you're watching, give me a call. And I'll bring you down to Miami as soon as possible. We got everything down there." Malone remains unsigned, sought by the Lakers, Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Lakers have remained confident that the 41-year-old forward will re-sign with them. O'Neal was presented with the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Superstar Award. He refrained from making any disparaging statements about Kobe Bryant or Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak in addressing the crowd that came out for the ceremony. "L.A. will be my home," O'Neal said afterward. "I own a lot of real estate here, I have a lot of friends here. And I'll be back." But O'Neal's fondness for the city does not extend to his former teammates. Asked if he would shake hands with everyone when he returns for a Christmas game at Staples Center, O'Neal said, "Some of them."</div><div align="center">Link</div> Hopefully Malone is listening and things will click. Even though our team is strong as it is we can always add an extra player for depth and Mailman would be a great addition. Especially at the Forward roles.
Well, from what I hear, Malone has already enrolled his kids in school out West, so I doubt he'll go anywhere else.

Especially for the reason that malone is only playing nowadays for the ring. i think he would be an ok fit for the heat. But the only problem i have withamalone coming to the heat would be the fact that he might slow Udonis Haslems process down. thought Malone could probally mentor the kid alot with his defensive swipe moves at the ball and all. I mean considering haslems defensive presence. but for the heat to be able to win next year and be considered as a team on malone hunt for the ring teams. then Shaq would have to have a huge year. And i'm expecting him too. so i hope malone sighns with the heat. and give the heat an all out hustle man to help shaq and wade.
If I were Malone, i'd go back to Utah this season and then honorably retire after the year is over on a positive note, ring or no ring.

Certainly a plus for the Lakers though. We're just hoping he signs here <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Quickness:</div><div class="quote_post">But the only problem i have withamalone coming to the heat would be the fact that he might slow Udonis Haslems process down. thought Malone could probally mentor the kid alot with his defensive swipe moves at the ball and all. I don't see why he should return to Utah. He gave that organization the better part of his youth and career and he's decided he'd like to look for other places to win. Every player deserves a chance to win big without having to be criticised for it especailly a player who's age is catching up to hmi.
Malone will stay in the west. He'll retire in the western conference. Where he'll end up at the start of the season whether it be SA, Minn, or LA is anyones guess
