Glen Grunwald was on the FAN 590 commenting on the VC situation. Now that he's not the GM and has nothing to worry about, when he was asked what was the biggest deal hes gotten, he said LB and the Sixers had interest. Brown was interested in VC in acquiring Vince because hes a North Carolina guy. Grunwald said the deal was to swap superstars (VC and Iverson). Obviously that didn't happen.

A few moments later, when Bob McCowan(The host of the Show) commeneted about the talked about trade (VC for AI) to Glen, Glen said in a sarcastic way "Iverson? Nooo......I was talking about Kyle Korver".

Just felt like getting this out to the Raptor fans.

Doesn't VC have only two years left? AI signed a long-term contract last year. That deal wouldn't be too great for the Raps.

This was discussed over 2 years ago, because brown wasn't with the team last year. My estimation is that this was discussed in the 2001-2002 season. Vince just signed his contract then, and AI had 3 years remaining at that time.
