<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"The Worm" turned up at the Pepsi Center on Tuesday but soon wiggled out of a workout. Former NBA rebounding champion Dennis "The Worm" Rodman played one game of full-court pickup basketball at the Nuggets' practice gym before departing, saying he was going to a local hospital to get an ingrown toenail removed. Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe said he granted Rodman the opportunity to work out after Rodman's agent, Darren Prince, made an inquiry. Prince had been trying to get Rodman a workout with Denver for more than a year.</div>-from ben maller.com

He was out for a while with a messed-up toe, so maybe guys take that stuff seriously. I do believe that Rodman can play considerable minutes still...and pull down about 8 boards a game. In his last year as a Maverick, he pulled down 12 or 14 a game, didn't he? That was back in 2000 or 2001...I'm too lazy to look but he's still active and in fairly good shape. Off-court issues are a different story.
true. even so i doubt the nuggets will try to sign Dennis. The only reason to sign a 43 year old freak show, would be the same reason that Mark Cuban signed him, press for an up and coming team. well the nuggets have already made a name for themselves, and putting a player well out of his prime (who could nothing but cas chaos) on your ball club is not a good idea
He has been done is done and will continue to be done. But i will say this... have you ever had an ingrown tonail? Just standing on your feet can hurt. I've had one on each foot. One hurt only when I ran the other hurt if i looked at it....
