<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Henacy:</div><div class="quote_post">Anyway I read an article that MJ tried to get in touch with Shaq, left a few messages with Shaq but Shaq hasnt retuned the call. There is some speculation that Shaq doesnt want MJ's help. I dont think he wants to share the spotlight with a MJ return especially with it being his 1st year in Miami. It would clearly be Shaq's team no doubt about that but It would be MJ's media. And thats probably the part Shaq cant deal with...</div>Like I said I posted that article in the Heat forums and Shaq went and got the opinions of his teammates and they all agreed that he shouldn't join...but then again maybe they're afraid to go against the don-dotta's word so who knows. But your probably right, if MJ joins and they win the championship, he's gonna have that loomin over his head that he had help from the GOAT. I agree that MJ would help DWade and Wright develope their game but he doesn't have to be on the court loggin in minutes to do that...

And it just said that Shaq hadnt returned MJ's call. And there was rumors that Shaq wasnt high on MJ coming to the heat. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I agree that MJ would help DWade and Wright develope their game but he doesn't have to be on the court loggin in minutes to do that...</div> I agree most of the things I was talking about can be taught in Practice. And by simply taking note of MJ's approach in practice & what ever minutes he does play. But I wouldnt see why MJ wouldnt be apart of the regular rotation. Wright probably isnt ready to be a high volume minute guy on a championship contender. And MJ better than Butler...and Person but Person's 3-point shot has to stay apart of the rotation in some concept. But MJ can easily play about 18-20 minutes on the wing for the Heat imo.
I have mix-feelings about MJ comeing back AGAIN, he will just be taking a roster spot for some young player. I know I would be going to Heat games with all of you guys if MJ came back. And would be nice to see MJ and Shaq on the same team, and with the NBA being CONSIDERD to be going down hill it would be something to get the NBA back on track. But at 41 years old I don't know. He would be nice like Henacy said to teach Dorell Wright and D-Wade. If he comes back I would expect 15-20 minutes per game and about 12-15 points per game.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Bobcats:</div><div class="quote_post">Of course they won't, it will be the Lakers, right? </div> Jordan, Kobe, nor Shaq will give your team an automatic championship. Maybe a Jordan/Shaq duo 6 years ago, like Kobe/Shaq did... By the way, in my opinion, both teams (Lakers and Heat) have legitimate shots at the championship...it's just that the Lakers will have a rougher trail to follow since they are in the West.
WHO CARES if Jordan's reputation/accomplishments and his 3rd comeback will "hurt" his career and the. Why does it matter? It's like his status as the greatest player ever will eventually descend amongst the top players of all-time? All that matter is that Jordan still has game no matter how old he is, and his experience will still greatly benefit the Heat and the chance of winning a championship would be higher.
Eactly,MJ may not be able to put up big numbers or anything but he could have an amazing efect on the Miami Heat players, espically Wade.I doubt he will make a comeback though,I remember his saying that there is a like a 0.00000000009 of a chance they he will come back. Right now there have been some reports of him coming back but there have also been reports that he is not planning anothre come back,so I guess we will have to wait and see.But imo I think this all just rumors,I highly doubt that MJ will return to the NBA as a player. But hey with a guy like Mike who knows what will happen.
Jordan needs to stay retired. If he wants to comeback, why doesn't he go back to the Wizards? Because he thinks with the addition of Shaq, and the current state of the Eastern Conference, this would be his best chance to get another ring. Shaq and Mike 6 years ago would have won it all without a question, but not in 2004.
