Pretending that you are the coach, reply to each scenario, stating who you'd put in the game and what you would do to come away with the game-winner, the halftime lead, the championship...whatever the scene is. Scenario 1: Christmas Day, Lakers vs. Heat in Los Angeles After a brutal 3rd quarter beating by Shaq and the Heat, the Lakers walk into the 4th quarter down by 8 points after blowing a 10 point lead. During the third, Lamar Odom picks up his 4th foul, as well as Vlade Divac with his 5th. For the Heat, Shaq has 4 fouls, but so far has posted 28 points and 11 rebounds. Kobe has yet to sit out, but has missed his last 5 shots due to fatigue. Question is...who do you play to start out the 4th quarter? Name your five on the court. Scenario 2: Regular season, Lakers vs. Spurs in San Antonio With 1 second left on the clock, Tim Duncan has hit another amazing shot, putting the Spurs ahead of the Lakers 89-88. With the ball at halfcourt, the players in on this play are Kobe, Odom, Butler, Grant, and Rush. Question is...with no Derek Fisher, and a heavily-guarded Kobe, who do you pass to for the game-winner? Scenario 3: Game 6, Western Conference Semis, Lakers vs. Nuggets in Denver, Nuggets up 3-2 Kobe is off to a cold start, and the 4th quarter begins. The fans here in Denver have really been giving Kobe a hard time. Atkins pulls up for a jumper and gets injured...out for the game. The game is tied...but the Nuggets ended the third quarter with a 6-0 run. Nuggets' PG Andre Miller is hot, netting 17 points with 7 assists. Voshon Lenard has been attempting threes, but hitting only one due to Kobe's great perimeter defense. Question is...do you go with an unexperienced Sasha Vujacic at the point, or move Kobe down out of position to PG and put Rush in the lineup to guard Voshon? Scenario 4: Game 7, NBA Finals, Lakers vs. Pistons in Detroit, series tied at 3-3 In a shocker, Kobe Bryant fouls out with 2:17 to go, and the Pistons leading. Eventually, the clock makes its way to 13 seconds. Pistons are up by three, 84-81, and the Lakers have the last shot. Unfortunately, it has to be a three-pointer, and without Kobe. Question is...who's on the floor at the last second? Who's got the chance of a lifetime to hit the game-tying three to send this crucial game into overtime? Let's hear it
Kobe scores 50 in every game and we always win. Rudy T just sits and gets paid for winning..... *wakes up* I have to really think about these ones.
Scenerio 1: Mihm, Odom, Walton, Rush, Atkins Reason: Lineup full of outside threats (besides Mihm of course, but he can hit mid-range) Scenerio 2: Kobe, lol .. okay, seriously, Kareem Rush Reason: Rush is the best shooter out there other than Kobe Scenerio 3: Depends how Sasha played during the season...most likely, I would go with Rush Reason: Experience Scenerio 4: Rush again, lol ... (atkins would be #2 choice) Reason: Best 3pt shooter on the laker team

Let's hear it </div> Scenerio 1: I would put Atkins at point, Rush at sg, Odom at sf, grant at pf, and probably mihm at center i would have grant and mihm run hack a shaq for the first 5 minutes of the quarter than at 5 minutes put kobe in for rush, and vlade in for mihm and keep grant in there to keep working on shaq trying to get any kind of fouls of him. really since kobe just got a a rest and and odom is being cautious run the ball. run the ball until the heat just cant keep up. try to keep the pace up till the last minute, score your points back and hopefully you will win. Scenerio 2: I would thro it to rush, he has a good shot, good range. and hopefully by that time this year he will matured and hopefully become more of a dependable shooter instead of being so streaky. Scenerio 3: Def move Kobe to pointguard, if Voshan has been cold all game and hasnt been to get his shot down, small chance he will do it this late in the game. move kobe to point and put rush in. no questions asked. Scenerio 4: Well this is a hard one because of the fact Kobe is so clutch and we always go to him. I would probably run the ball thro Rush again just like in scenerio 2 hoping he becomes consistent on his shooting abilities and he can pull off a big win. thats my opinion From COACH BILLA_BONG! lol
Guys, Rush shoots at 44% (well, last year) and 35% three-point percentage, but his free throws are terrible, just under 60%. So...what if the opposing team realizes this and fouls him on a three to tie the game? Just a thought...

His low percentage has a lot to do with lack of playing time / attempts. In college, he was an 80% foul shooter, so I trust him if he gets regular rotation minutes
Scenario 1: Kobe,Rush,Walton,Grant,Divac. - i try to get Shaq to foul out by using Divac's patented flop and drop. as soon as Shaq sits down i get rid of Divac and put Odom and Kobe,Rush and Walton start shooting 3's while Grant and Odom molest the other team on the boards. then after winning by 15 i laugh at Shaq's face and slam his words into his big fat mouth! Scenario 2: Rush - has the best chance of making the shot. Scenario 3: i put Kobe at SG and Rush at PG - during the break, i tell Kobe that the only way that these people are gonna believe that he didnt rape the girl is that if they win this game. Kobe come's come out fired determined to prove his innocence. Kobe pulls off a Michael Jordan and scores 20 points in the 4rth quarter. Scenario 4: Vlade Divac - the most unlikely of guys to shoot the game tying 3. it has been a proven fact that all European players can shoot the 3. never in a gazillion years will coach LB ever think that Divac would shoot the game tying basket. after Divac's game saving shot, the pistons are demoralized and start making mistakes.the pistons,all confused, start double teaming Divac for in fear of him making 3's.Rush,Sasha and Walton start firing up from the 3. after winning i congratulate coach LB for his teams effort but explained to him that a Laker championship was inevitable.during the press conference Kobe disses Shaq and all his critics for ever doubting him.
