doesn't matter what vince wants. If we trade him to a team he doesn't like he can't do anything to stop it.
Both are leaders of teams that aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Trade them and neither team improves. Both teams will have a player who is injury prone and complains. I don't like the deal.
well I think it would be unfair for TO just for sales and whatnot cuz Carter is a very merchanidable player so is Baron but carter is way up there u know what i mean?
First off I believe the Raps should look to build around CB4. And what better way to help out a big man than to aquire a point guard of Baron Davis's Caliber. And to comment on the ticket sales i think Baron davis can sell alot of tickets for the Raps when they start winning. "I mean if you build it they will come." It being a winning team and they being the fans. i like this trade alot. the hornets franchise is looking down and out and if i'm not mistaken they are being watched carefully due to their lack of success after there rellocation. so the spontaneity of aquiring vince for baron could turn there franchise up or down. And the Raptors have needed a true point gaurd for ages. so i say pull the trigger Babcock this is the only superstar caliber player i think you can dwindle from any team in the L at this time that could actually help your franchise out.
What happened to the rumor that Vince would be traded for Corey Maggette and whoever the filler was? I would prefer that trade over any trade involving Vince. I just don't like star for star trades becasue they are pointless.
I would simply love this trade. NO would get thier revenues up, VC would get a fresh start, as well as Baron. It looks like a good deal on both sides. C- Arjuano/Bosh PF- Bosh/Marshall SF- Rose/Murray SG- Davis/Peterson PG- Alston/Davis It looks like a pretty good lineup. Not bad and if B-Diddy stays healthy and gets on one of those MVP caliber rolls like he did at the beggning of last year, then the Raptors could stir some noise. I would pull the trigger on this trade in a flash but both GM's are being stubborn.

It will also encourage him to shoot from the outside more. C - Araujo | Moiso | Woods | Bosh PF - Bosh | Marshall SF - Peterson | Lammond SG - Rose | Baron PG - Baron | Alston
I say do it. I wanna see Vince on a different team. Vince and Baron on the same team would be mighty awesome though....maybe theres a way to trade other players on new orleans to toronto so vince and baron would play together.
VC seems like he could be traded to any team. But damn with New Orleans they don't play on tv as much so being a guy who just likes to see Vince play. I'd hardly see him play anyways.

Seriously though, I don't see it happening at all, I mean Baron is a PG, also great defensively, averaged 0.5 less rebounds than Carter, and more assists. He also averaged more PPG, and had a higher FG efficiency, and NOH doesn't even want to trade him.

Either way I won't complain, if we get Baron I'll be happy, but if Vince stays it doesn't bother me, I'm not going to cry about it. I'd like to get Baron though because their are a lot of swingmen going into Free Agency later, and having a PG-Bigman combo is always nice.
