The Calvin Murphy era for Rockets television broadcasting looks to be over. I wonder who the replacement will be. I heard speculations that it might be Cynthia Cooper. I don't care much for that choice.

Cooper i think IS the new broadcaster, because the other day i was watchin the Comets last game and at the end of the game Cooper and Hagadorn[spelling?] said, something like, "well the Comets season is over, but in a couple of weeks the Rockets will begin play." Then Coop said somthing like "well i cant wait, we will be in China, see you there [to Hagadorn]

She might be doing half-time and post-game analysis, like last year. If she is going to be doing color commentary, I really hope she has improved over last year. Maybe she's just shy talking in front of a camera and she's better with play-by-play stuff. Don't know why Bullard can't come back, though. I thought he was pretty good.

Well, this hardly matters to me since I don't get Houston games unless it's on national TV, so who covers their local games will not be important to me. But from what I heard, Cynthia Cooper is pretty bad at doing commentary...
