<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"If you trade Ron Artest, you better get a helluva player back," Larry Bird said. "I'm not going to sit here and tell you we're not going to trade any of our guys because that's not the nature of our business. Anybody can be traded. But I think he's one of the top 10 players in the league. You better get one of the top 10 players back if it fills a need."

Bird didn't rule out the possibility of a trade entirely, but it is clear that he will have to be blown away by a terrifc offer.</div>

If he really wants to trade Artest then this article sounds like he is trying to market Artest. Artest is expected to make about 5mil this season so salaries must match; Bird probably won't find a player of equal value for the same salary but he might be able to unload some salaries. Artest also has a poor attitude and the rumors are the Pacers covered it up and are trying to get rid of him. This lowers his value if all that's been said is true.

I want Larry Bird to list his top 10 players, and explain why in the world he thinks Artest should be among them.
