<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Personally, I think Yao will be an All-Star all his career, because of the huge Asian support that he gets. But I see your numbers as the roof for him.</div> Haha, this is so true.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting durvasa:</div><div class="quote_post">The "going to war" comment was just talk to hype up his team. I wouldn't much more out of it. KG is an intense player who plays with a lot of emotion. I don't think he's a bad guy with a messed up personality (Ron Artest comes to mind), but then I never heard about these incidents.</div> Yeah I know, but the rumor that KG popped some training camp rookie raised some eyebrows so who knows what's going through his mind.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Custodian, here's a suggestion. Drop the Warriors and become a huge Rockets fan! </div> I think I would be a lousy fan given the fact I'm only interested in seeing what T-mac and Yao will do. And also if Lue and Nachbar will suprise a few people. You take away those 4 I'll probably get really bored quick.
Yes, I too think Yao will end up a career Rocket...Les is a smart and intelligent owner and will not screw up this one...they're basically clearing cap money to sign Yao long term when the time comes...by the end of his career, I expect the Rockets to have a few more championships under their belt...
I dont think Yao will be a Rocket 4LIFE! Although I think he'll play the majority of his career with the rockets. after he reaches his peak, he may move. In the current NBA, players move around too much. No more Magic and the Lakers, or Bird and the Celtics. I'd say that atm, Garnett n Kob.. oh n Duncan seem like the only franchise players in the NBA. Iverson is SOOOOO moving soon.
