<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Cavaliers are preparing an offer for guard Lucious Harris, who was bought out and released by the New Jersey Nets last week. If the Cavaliers are able to land the 33-year-old, 6-foot-5 Harris, he would be both the 14th player under contract and an insurance policy. He can play shooting guard and point guard and would back up Jeff McInnis and Eric Snow.</div>article from benmaller.com Well this isnt a bad idea at all,Harris could probably get more minutes then Dajuan Wagner at this point because the Cavs are dissapointed in him,but signing LU would give them a lot of depth in there backout as well as another solid vet to have on the team.
Harris would be a good signing. Hes a solid vet coming off the bench, which would be valuable to this young team. He can play both sg and pg. That will come in handy if we are planning on starting Snow and Jeff in the same backcourt. He can score and bring some energy off the bench. He's a good shooter and we lack shooters. If we sign him, I would try to trade Wags for draft picks, good prospects, or solid role players.
Well said, mommy. He would be a great vetern shooter to come of the bench. That's something that we relaly lack. I agree on trading Wagner too, he hasn;t showed me much while been here in Cleveland.
He would be a real solid addition. You have to take advantage of teams that want to tear apart there teams. We took advantage of Philly, now we should grab a piece of the nets success too. might as well.
I totally agree!! Also with not a very head & shoulders team now, we can make a little run. I think the best thing we can do is give Paul more options, more combonations.. so he can rest our starters. The more they rest the better we will be in April which will give us that power to go into the Playoffs
