    Comments?

I think Uconn was rated too high, without Okafor or Gordon they will stuggle, but they got Rudy Gay coming in so if he can play good who knows...

All I can say is no Duke? Wow. Duke is always good and will continue to be so this year and I'm amazed they're not in there.

Exactly, they have Duke at #21, I guess thats what happens when you use a floor general in Duhon and a key freshman in Deng...

I live in Champaign and it's cool to see the Illini ranked #1 but there's no way they shouls have that spot. I think Wake Forest is #1 in the country and Georgie Tech is right there after them.

That basketball magazine looses all credibility in my opinion for ranking Illinois as the Number 1 team in the nation. They are a good team however ranking them #1 is more than just an average strech in my opinion.

Yeah, how can you rate Illinois as the number 1 team in the nation? It's crazy. And Alabama, is always rated high in pre-season, but always falls half way through the season, and ends up making the NIT. There is another mistake by them. You better mention Rudy Gay COurtKing, lol. I think Illinois should be 4th, and Wake~1, UNC~2, Kansas~3, Illinois~4. That would be how I would situate the top 4, IMO.

Duke will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with, as they are most every year. Thats what happens when you have a coach like mike K. But when a team loses potential starters to the draft like they did, they're going to have to rely on players who weren't likely to have too much pt to come in and put in quality minutes.

Hinrich please do not double post, you can just have it in one post, or if you accidentally do that, just edit your first post. I think Duke will have another top 10 finish, and Demarcus Nelson will be freshman of the year in the ACC.
