Well this guy is still a free agent and is a very solid player to have on your team, espically when your front court is shallow like ours. When he is healthy he can score, rebound, and block shots pretty well,Clark would also bring some size to are front court also. But this is all a 'what' if situation,if Sammy D gets a season ending injury in the begining of the season what would we do?The only true center we would have left on our roster would be Marc Jackson, and we all know he wouldnt be able to handle the starting spot for a season. So why not give this guy a shot? I bealive he could still perfrom if given the chance to.He would be a big help if one of our C's went down with an injury,so why not sign him to a vets minimum just in case.Even if are C's stay healthy he could still come off the bench and bring energy for us by playing 20 to 30 minutes a nite. What do you guys think?
Yeah I`ve been hoping that 76ers were looking at him the past summer. He`d be a nice pickup. Is he healthy though? He only played like four games last season.
Yeah, what you say is true, the last good season he had was the 2002-2003 season.Even though he hasnt been producing in the last couple of seasons,I still bealive he could produce for us if he is healthy, hopefully he has been working hard this offseason to make an impact for whatever team he plays for in the upcoming season.
he is qite a nice player, but health is a big concern. if that wouldn't be the case he would have signed with a team, cause talented big man are quite rare. the next problem is we don't have a roster spot for him.(at least not if you count josh davis in)
I've heard that Keon has had problems with drugs and his dad is in jail.Cavs wanted to sign him but nobody has had a chance to reach Keon as he doesn't have a phone (confused....) Keon was really good in Toronto, after that he dissapeared somewhere on the Kings bench..then Utah and Phoenix (did he play for Phoenix at all?)
Keon is a cancer. Plain and simple, this guy is not focused enough on basketball, he is another Griffin. Sure, he has personal problems and don't we all, but if he surely does, then he needs to retire or take a break from basketball until everything is sorted out. He was reported as going to try out for the Cavs this past week I believe (according to the Links from SLAMOnline.com) and he never showed up. This is the guy that the whole NBA has been trying to get a hold of, he doesn't have an agent, nor a cellphone, he is a lost soul. To put someone like that with such problems, and complications on a team, is absurd. I don't care about the amount of talent he possese, but if he cannot control his life, then why have him on the team. It's a given, in today's NBA personal issues tie in with the professional side of things, and for all we know he could one day just dissapear, and that's something I wouldn't want to risk.
I was one of those people who really wanted Keon Clark here, but after thinking about this over, I say we are better off without him. Yes, he can play but that?s only when he's healthy and we rarely see a healthy Keon Clark because he always sustain an injury one way or another. Also, he has a history of not getting along with his teammates, but then again I can?t necessarily use that against him because he just may get along with the 76ers roster. Who knows? However, most importantly, I do not know where is head is at this moment. Just recently he didn't show up for a scheduled workout in Cleveland, so right I'm clueless on where his dedication is. And if he's not dedicated his work ethic will be heavily questioned. So I say that we would be better off with a player like Josh Davis for example, because he is a much hungrier and determined player.
I wouldn't want him here, he is a bum and he only had 1 good season at Sacramento. And like someone said above "He is a cancer".
I don't even think we need another center, we got Marc Jackson, Samuel Dalembert, and Brian Skinner. Why need for another one?
haha yea i no i was like we have a weak front court?/ wat u talkin about we got sammy d,marc jackson, brian skinner, kenny thomas.all of them r capable of putting up 10 plus points and aveag more than 6 rebounds

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't even think we need another center, we got Marc Jackson, Samuel Dalembert, and Brian Skinner. Charles Barkley was 6-5, Dennis Rodman was 6-8, and yet both of them led the league in rebounding. Sometimes, height doesn't factor much into the ability of a player to play in the low post; strength is the most needed thing that helps you succeed. That is why players "short" legends like Larry Johnson and Alonzo Mourning were able to dominate the post. I'm not saying that any of the Sixers' post players will be as good as them, just that they won't really suffer in the post, solely because they are strong and has size.
Sure thats true, there are guys also like Kenny Thomas who are the same way, what I am trying to say is that a team with a frontcourt similar to the Sixers frontcourt could always use players who have size.I 'm not discrediting any of those players abilities or anything but size is alwyas a big help to a small frontcourt.
