    Why do you call it "T-Dot"?

    Why do you call it "T-Dot"?

    Can someone please explain the answer to this question to me?
    I see it and heard it but never understood it or made sense to me.

    because Toronto Ontario has been referred as T.O. (pronounced tee-oh) for the longest time

    the people started calling it the tee dot oh dot. as in spelling out the abreviated form

    then it was shortened to just tee dot

    understand?

    I heard that some Rap Group started saying that as people got lazy and said the same thing too.

    Explanation

    The main reason why ppl call it TDot is because Kardinal Offishall (Famous Canadian Rapper) made it up, and after that, everyone started using the slang. And it catches on and on. Besides the actual definition of TDot, Kardinal was the one who made up the slang in his lyrics

    it was just popularized by choclair, kardinal...etc. people were calling it tee dot a long time ago

    kardinal did not make it up. it was being said well before he even appeared on Northern touch
