thats right...its a business. and in the business side of things...vince is the employee and raptors brass are his boss. if i walked up to my boss and said "i want to be switched to one of our other contracts. and if you dont, i might just complain, not show up and i might not even perform what im paid to do with the best of efforts" how quick would i be fired lol. obviously its a different circumstance because vince is under contract and im not...but you see the similarity. vince is the employee...the employER has every right to do whatever they want with the business. thats how business works. only in pro sports are the employees in so much control.
No man, I have a feelin that Vc is gonna bite the Raptor fans in the rear. If he gets traded hes gonna tear it apart. Hopefully he bites for the Raptors instead, just like he used to.
^^its funny. iv had that feeling too. im kinda scared to see him traded because im worried he'll have a huge season, but up enormous numbers and not miss a single game. im kinda hoping he'll have that kinda season as a raptor =

There's tghat whoole fair market value issue. Vince has to try hard this year if he wants to be traded, we still have him locked up. Vicne made the biggest mistake ever when coming public with him wanting to be traded. Toronto has some of hte most devoted VC fans, and he betrayed them. I still believe he is a great player and the great one he always has been, except forinrjruies and lack of effort. VC should have just given it a shot with the team we have now. We woulda had a much happier season with (IMO) some nice wins. Vince is gonna stay. He is gonna play. He has to. How hard he plays is up to him, we can only hope he plays his best this saeaon so whe either changes his mind, or we get a 'better' player in return
Now he will stay. He changed his mind cuz he knows he won't get traded, and hes motivated like usual in the beginning of the season.
