Blazers Sign Ratliff To Multi-Year Extension

    Theo Ratliff was signed by the Portland Trail Blazers to a 3 year extension. According to Ratliff's agent, he will make $46 million over the next 4 years.

    This was a good move by the Blazers IMO. He is a great defensive player, and it would've been a big mistake for them to let him leave. He is one of the top players on this team.

    this was a very good move...Ratliff is the best shot-blocker in the league, and gives the Blazers what is a dying breed in the NBA- a legitimate interior defensive presence...he's also a solid offensive player and I'm sure he'll only play better now that he has security...
