Hey guys.... Summer Scoop Pretty interesting article on what's going on in Sac-town. Here are some excerpts that I found most interesting... <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Brad Miller, Bobby Jackson, Darius Songaila, Ricky Minard, Mike Bibby, Greg Ostertag, and Matt Barnes all hit the court on Tuesday in a spirited set of games, while Chris Webber worked with his shooting coach, Buzz Braman</div> <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Look for the Kings to announce a free-agent signing in the next few days. The player is a recognizable NBA face who should make the roster and has been working out the last few days at the facility. I?ll give you a hint: think teal. </div> Hmmmm... who could it be??
oo oooooo its Keel the Real Teal Bear!!! errrrr.... no thats not it....dangit... hrm... maybe tomorrow I should mosy on down to the practice facility & see if I can see some faces.....
Thanks for the update. I Just want the season to start so we can see what the Kings have to show the NBA.
Nice update, I wanna see the Kings prove they are still a good team. I wanna know which free agent has been signed
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting nkwu:</div><div class="quote_post"> I wanna know which free agent has been signed</div> My guess (after a little research) : Courtney Alexander Why? I think "teal" is refering to the Hornets, and the only remaining free agent that was a Hornet last year is Alexander. In my opinion (if I'm right) it's a great pickup. His career numbers: 9 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 1.2 apg in 21.7 mpg. He's a good quality bench guy, and a great replacement for Peeler.
he's a good offensive player, but the Kings are not going to win a championship if they dont start taking defense more seriously... and unfortunatly, as good an offensive player as he might be (assuming he comes back from the injury all the way) he is not a great defensive player... but I have disagreed with the moves Petrie has made in the past & been wrong before... perhaps this will be the same
